@ CourtneyRhodes13 Exactly! Also, why would that trainer even let himself go. If gyms were closed, he could’ve easily found other ways to work out. Like going for a run at the park, bike riding, getting a treadmill, doing sit up and lifting weights at home.

As a person who is regular at the gym, this thankfully never happened at our gym. If you workout you know how hard is to get from point A to point B, so the biggest guy in the gym is most likely going to help if you ask rather than making fun of you.

This one really got to me. I was bullied all through my school time for my weight and today I still can’t look in the mirror without seeing ‘that fat girl’. I remember saying “treat people the way you want them to treat you”, but bullies don’t listen to that. I never changed how I treated people. If they have a good heart, that’s all that matters to me. When I see plus size people at the gym I always smile, knowing they are working on themselves. Somehow I hope they know that not everyone mocks them and cheers them on silently.

Think of it like this, people who have to belittle others are really belittling themselves. So don't take too much stock in those that have nothing going for themselves. @@Probatives it’s probably not their fault tho actually. Some people have depression and other mental illnesses which demotivates them from working out. Some people have eating disorders too that they can’t control. Some people probably don’t ever have time either to stay in shape and get some physical activity. So you can’t just automatically blame them and say it’s their fault cause they are fat. And even if it is their fault you should never bully them.

It shouldn’t take going through similar situations to have compassion for anyone! It’s just plain mean to mock someone because of their plight! Just because you haven’t suffered the way they are will not dismiss you from suffering in other ways. Thinking that saying I’m sorry doesn’t take away the wounds that were created by mean behavior. Because 20 kilos is a lot of overweight. Speaking of myself I'm in progress to lose more then 20 kilos😇😅 I already lost about 15 kilos. Nevertheless, shaming someone who tries actively to lose weight, is like shaming someone who's sick and visiting a doctor 🙄 just stupidity

As a person who has been overweight for most of my life, I can tell you how entitled people think they are to make fun and insult others about their weight. No one knows every other person’s story and even if they did, hurting people because you can is just plain evil. So stop it! Love others as you love yourself. And love yourself and them as God loves. I love dhar mann giving us relatable videos. Before the pandemic started I lost a great amount of weight, I finally was skinny. Then when covid hit I stayed home too long that I gained 30 pounds. Still go to the gym to lose more now so thank you dhar for this relatable experience.

As someone who struggled with his weight all throughout life, I know all too well what Angela was going through. I try to avoid gyms as much as possible and instead go to the park or use my weights and treadmill at home. People can be so mean amd judgemental for no damn reason
