@@Winellaoose a simple historical proven fact is that Venezuela was not present in 1899… just like if someone sold your house but you didn’t know about it… The ICC doesn’t have a jurisdiction in a territory dispute and everyone knows that the one and only is the Geneva agreement 1966… in the meantime you can tell me all you want but if you don’t know these simple facts then is because you didn’t do your homework properly…

Severo Mallet Preval years later, before dying, left his memorandum letter where he recounts how Venezuela was stripped of Essequibo. Severo was one of the signatories of the Paris Award of 1899. This gave a turn to the case and in 1966 England, Venezuela and English Guyana signed the Geneva Agreement.
