Amazing scenes. Last year I visited sky valley based of your recommendation and climed the 999 steps to black rock. There's also a waterfall at the top on the Kanuku Mountain where they built the dam for the hydro. Next time you're there, would be Great to take the climb. Have some pics and videos i can share with you if you like.
I enjoyed this video. Awesome place! Use socks or water shoes to not slide on the slippery rocks. I heard mention of deer and hunting. Please don't kill the wild animals to avoid extinction. So glad they promote conservation in that area. ❤
OMG!!! Wow this place is so so beautiful. Myself and family of 15 is coming to Guyana in July, thanks to you Denny this will be one of my destination. Looking at the video, the journey seems breathtaking ❤. Lots of beautiful greenery, but a rough journey on the road. A preserve area certainly needs finance to maintain for tourism. The falls are certainly beautiful. Thanks for this amazing expedition of this hidden part of Guyana, some of us didn't know existed. Is the crowd there just to be videoed? Nice off grid scenery but how/ when can the trip getting there be a bit more smoother than what appears to be dangerous to say the least?.. maybe the same reason why it’s such less visited secret. If you drive in for a weekend it will take from Georgetown to lethem 3 tanks of gas about 200 usd hotel about 50 us per day per room food for 2 people another 50 usd per day crossing with the boat another 60usd return. So it can run you about 600 usd for 2 people. However more people can go in the vehicle you only have to add food and hotel expenses.

Scenery is beautiful, but dress code atrocious. Activities should fucus around the falls,no music, Guyanese should dress appropriately on these occasions: swim suits,beach pants, bikini etc.this is not the ganges River.come on show case Guyana!
