Guyatone PS-005 Overdrive Pedal - Retro Pedal Demos 

Sounds great! I have a pedal from the same line (PS-007 Phaser), very versatile phaser, and it lasted for more than 20 years despite going through rough use from two previous owners. I really think these pedals are hidden gems.

Good demo. The tone from that pedal sounds great.

I never get tired of hearing a good OD or any other good sounding pedal. Thats why so many of us end up with piles of gear. but thats not often a bad thing.

I've got one of these, bought it back in the mid 90's. When I was in bands I used it like a Tubescreamer - to push my other pedals or amp a little harder (sounded good with my cheap Tele clone). The only criticism I had was the fragility of the button. The rubber button is stuck to a piece of metal that bends, behind that is a small spring that presses against a small momentary contact switch. First the contact switch broke so I got it replaced. Later the spring broke and I thought that was enough (broken twice in five years!) so I ripped the plastic pad off, fixed the metal sheet into place, removed the momentary contact, drilled a hole in the metal plate and fitted a large momentary foot switch instead. It's never broken again and still works great.

I am about to get one, this demo is a big reason.
