Really agree with Shawn's takes on this one! Seems like many of these problems stem from guys not understanding the concept of being FRIENDS with girls... Developing feelings for a friend is fine, but expecting them to return these feelings because you're nice to them/make a move on them is just not it. She did not friendzone you - YOU developed feelings for her 😩

there's a difference between 'down bad' (purely sexual) and pursuing someone because you're genuinely romantically interested in them (personality and all).

Being a simp is the worst thing a man can do in 2023, this act is actively making the dating market harder and harder, which makes poor boys simp even more hoping to one up each other. It is a vicious cycle. To the boys out there, stop simping.

Its been going on for ages.. just that most women out there take advantage of said simping. Also I blame on alot of media that influence younger folk that do this, things like romcoms or kdrama defo play a role here for guys acting like that.
