I checked your channel a month ago just to see if you uploaded any new Guyver videos, and now you did. Thank you it means a lot to me. I first saw Guyver back in 1999 it's a big part of my childhood. I really wished they would had the OVA series kept going with the whole story line, it was so dark and intense, imagine how Guyot would look and sound like in the OVA version. One mix up you made with Apollon is that his armor is made of the same material as the Control Metals of the Guyvers, not the Guyvers themselves. I think my favorite character is Aptom. He starts as a villain, then becomes neutral and attacks everyone, before joining the heroes. Also I love his power, starting out as a Knock Off Guyver but then stealing the powers of other Zoanoids by absorbing their DNA, and changing into all of the different forms is so cool.

I don't think Apollyon is a Guyver Zoalord cause where did a Fourth Unit come from. How his Armor might've been something Archanfel was keeping secret.
I was worried I’d missed out on the final battle in the manga! Been a Guyver fan since the 80’s, as a kid. Although the first live action movie adaptation was subpar - though campy/cheesy adaptations were the norm for anything comic book related - the second movie was far better. Last battle I read was post- Guyver 1 (Sho) vs. Guyver 3 (Agito) with Griselda fighting Valcuria/Valkyrie (Guyver 2 Female), Hell of a battle! I would say the expanded lore was pretty cool but after seeing how manga authors run their stories WAY too long, not even outliving their works: I really wish creators would learn that a long epic isn’t always the best. Understandable why they did so, as it was a stable source of revenue. As an aspiring artist who once was a prospective hire for CLAMP (a female-owned conic company in Japan), I’m heavily considering making a comic which takes inspiration from two of my favourite comics: Berserk and Guyver.
I did like the 2cnd movie more than the first. I wanted to see how far into the manga the story went and that's as far as I could find. I think 2016 was the last issue. And nobody has a real solid answer as to why the creator stopped the story. There's only been a few ideas on why.
It'd be quite interesting how the final battle between the Guyvers and Archanfel would go down, and possibly the Creators/Uranus being the final boss even.
Maybe apollon is the humanoid child of creators or a creator himself and the reason arkenphel didn't attack him was because he was thinking apollon to be a zoalord..i think since apollon's design is wayy too unique plus his armor is made up of the metal of core medal meaning he is from somewhere where that metal is abundant or hell he could be a spy for the creator send when guyver activated sending a signal to creators in space.
A few things to note, one is a fact that you messed up, the other is still speculation, on a point you didn't mention, but is an important one that the evidence points towards. Fact - The scene of Guyot watching the Exceed fight with Khan, obviously happened before the whole thing with him and Apollyon. That is where the 2 rogue Zoalords found him and took him in, to give him his dummy crystal and Unus Zoanoids. Before that he had appeared as a bandaged man outside the house Sho and the others were hiding in. Speculation - Apollyon/Imakarum is not fused with a Guyver unit. There are only 3 Creator made units on earth. Archaphel's last wish was for him was to get him a Unit-G, before we ever see Apollyon. If he had one, he would have used it on Archaphel like he wants to, to try and fix Archaphel's problem. His armor is only made from the same alien metal as the Guyver's Control Metal, which the Creators might have used for more things. When Apollyon approached Guyot, (and Sho and Aptom interfered) he was after something... But obviously not the dummy crystal. He is very likely after the unit remover that he suspects Guyot likely still has.
@@mathewsturgeon629 I don't have the time, or equipment to do so. His videos are usually mostly correct, but not everyone is perfect. Only 1 proper correction and 1 counter fan speculation idea in a 35 minute info dump video is still pretty damn good.
I think my favorite characters range from Aptom, Zx-Tole, Guyot. Really there are a lot I like from the franchise even ones like Mizuki. I know so many have their issues with her but she never really bothered me none. But otherwise those three are (just by a little) my most favorite characters.
Guyot was a really good villain. I liked his voice in the Japanese TV series compared to his english dub. We never got to see Dr Barcus/Balcus ZoaLord form. This story has alot of characters that appear in the story which gives you alot to look at. Definitely a franchise I would've liked to see be completed to get closure.

Thanks for this upload man - I first watched this anime back in the 90’s when it was a massive thing somehow - bought the DVD in 2008 from HMV and they said the zoalords were evil vampires haaa. 😂😂😂😂

Would be nice. But they tried in 2005 with an anime but after 1 season of 12 episodes, they didn't continue it. I think because the fanbase wasn't high enough to support it?

Shizu became a Zoalord to help her Master Agito control his new army of Zoanoids, the Libertus. She goes by the code name Griselda. Agito kidnapped the 2nd best scientist in Cronos to create her and his army to fight Cronos and fulfill his dark ambitions. Female Guyver 2 is Ozwald Lisker's (Guyver 2) step sister, Valkyrie Forsberg Lisker. She uses a Cronos designed Artificial Guyver unit, that was made by using samples and scans from Guyver 2. They couldn't replicate the Control Metal perfectly, so during combat she has issues like the original Guyver 2 did, but she is also having some issues physically after using it too much... And for fan service sake, her clothes are destroyed when she removes the armor.

Whatever happened to guyver 3 after guyver '1's fight/fall off? I know they kinda fought and fell off but never read the manga since then. Did 3 die or somethin or did they just go separate ways? Is 3 a villain now? The wiki doesnt really have any answers.
They went separate ways. Agito made his own small army of zoanoids and scientists while Sho would team up with Aptom. Guyver 3 did not die as you can see in this video, he was still in the story until the very last Manga issue was published.
I saw the 2 Guyver movies long before I knew there 2 anime series....still didn't know about the Manga until 3 years ago😂😂😂😂 that's kinda embarrassing 😂😂
Hi. I need someone to correct me on this. Lately, I've been doing some thinking about the Guyver's multiplier. I've come the the conclusion that the Guyver's multiplier would add on top of the Zoalord's transformation. Example would be, Guyot uses the Guyver as a Zoalord. His Zoalord power is amped by 100 times. If I'm wrong, correct me on this. I don't want to give people wrong informations. Because, if this is correct, then that means the Guyver amps the hosts current state or forms they are currently using instead of amping their Base stats. Example would be if Gohan was in Super Saiyan and uses the Guyver. The Guyver would multiply Gohan's Super Saiyan by 100x instead of his Base. If Gohan uses the Guyver along with his Beast from, then the Guyver would amp Gohan's Beast from by 100x. But if I'm wrong about the Guyver's amp, then I want to be corrected. The other conclusion I come upon is that any one with Human DNA could get the 100x amp based on the Zoanoid and Zoalords wanting to use it. The Zoanoids and Zoalords has their DNA altered but they still have human DNA. So people like Gohan, Jonathan Kent, and Mark Grayson should get the Guyver's 100x amp too because they have Human DNA. If I'm wrong about that, let me know. Then there is people like Robocop and Cyborg. I'm unsure if the Guyver would amp them since their strength isn't organic but mechanical. Then there is Venom. I'm unsure if the two could work together to amp each other. Or if the two would even be compatible. Also, some of the Guyver's weapons is harmful to the Symbiote. Anyways, you can ignore the robots and symbiotes. I'm more interested in being corrected about the Guyver amp on top of the user's current forms or state.
