Josko is from my country, my city. I can confirm that you couldn’t find more humble & down to earth guy. He’s a son of fisherman who still works as a fisherman, though Josko earned millions. His father is selling fishes at the main market in Zagreb, still waking up at 4 am. He bought them house. But not in the elite part of Zagreb (where all football players are buying houses). He bought them house in the suburb of Zagreb, where his mother can grow vegetables, as she loves that. After he scored first goal for Dinamo in age of 17, he went home by tram, after the game. Fans recognized him & there is still his picture from that tram. He said he was too shy to ask his teammates to drive him home. Sometimes, after the training, he used to go to the market to help his father with the fishes. After he won WC bronze & became the best CB of the tournament, he came back to Croatia. He went to his father's hometown (Novigrad on the coast) in an old Fiat Punto. Everyone expected him to come in the luxury car, but no. That is Josko. His parents raised him to be humble , nice & normal person. His charisma is unbeleivable, the kid is born for big things. Time will show if I was right.
