Hello. I just purchase this mask, and I'm curious about the exhalation valve. Is it meant to come unsealed when exhaling? You can see that in this video. When he breathes out, the valve unseals at the top and there is a gap. Isn't unfiltered air going to make it's way inside?

Since you mentioned it can be used to avoid covid-19 with the proper cleaning with the hydrogen peroxyd thats the only question i have. I will order a few ones for me and my relatives. Hello. I am a teacher in a city with a very hot climate and I am interested in buying this GVL mask since the surgical mask and the n95 get wet and spoiled after 20 minutes of use. I have some questions: 1. What is the recommended time limit in one day to use the GVL? Can I use it for 4 continuous hours? 2. Doesn't the protection of the GVL diminish with sweat? 3. I see the exhalation valve open and close. When the valve opens when exhaling, can a virus enter my airways? Am I protected? 4. I want to protect my students during class, can I cover the GVL with another mask during class to temporarily cover the exhalation valve? 5. As protection against COVID-19, how long can the filters last in my profession as a teacher, with students maintaining 1.5 meters of distance from each other? Aquí en Brasil, algunas personas sellaron la válvula desde el interior, con un trozo de mascarilla quirúrgica para filtrar el aire exhalado, pero ¿sería necesario también para evitar que entre aire contaminado?

just bought this face mask only had it on for a few minutes and started feeling dizzy. I gather the dizziness is coming from the strong chemical smell inside the mask. I immediately removed it to breathe room air. I bought the mask because I'm a crocheter and the yarn fibers get in my nose and throat so I thought this would help. Maybe I need to air it out until that strong chemical smell dissipates? If that's even possible.
I've no idea about the chemical smell inside the mask. It doesn't have one, so if there is a smell it may be a problem with the mask or the way it was stored. I would recommend returning it to the place of purchase for an exchange.

@@GVSBlog ohh okay, that’s my concern there’s nothing closing the exhalation valve, i put it on and it fits well, but the valve threw me off. I would send a picture but it will not let me on here.

@@gillholmes1293the durability of P3 dust filters depends on the usage of the filters, for example how many times a day they are used, the type of work, what dust there is and in what concentration. Basically, there is no effective filter life, when the respiratory resistance increases the filters are clogged and so need to be changed.

Hello! Can you tell me if you can change the filters on these masks up to the a1p3? I have this mask already but don't want to buy the better filters only to find they don't fit! Hello! Is it normal there are some drops because of sweat and breathing inside the respirator in the valve area after using it during a couple of hours? does it affect the filtering? am i still protected? what can i do (aside from taking the respirator off during a period of time and clean it)?
It is normal when working at high temperatures. Condensation has no influence on the efficiency of filters and valves. We recommend you, if it’s necessary, take off the mask and dry it.
Looking to buy this respirator for my boys to do some projects around the house. They are 9 years old. Will this unit fit their head and seal around their mouth?
The Integra mask is available in two sizes: ML and SM. In your case, I would definitely recommend the size SM. However, I can't guarantee that it will have an adequate fit on a 9-year-old child.
