I totally respect and appreciate the honest feedback bro! This one was like, as I'm watching the final test renders looking for mistakes, I'm thinking to myself "Am I pushing it too far with this one?" Honestly I love this kind of editing, but I know it's pretty polarizing in an already niche genre, so to speak lol. I'll probably strike more of a balance with the next videos other than just non stop 500% - 40% - 200% - 50 % - 100% - 200% - 20% lol. It's a lot of work for sure. And I try not to make videos that look too much like each other back to back to back. So I try to view it as, even if this video or that video doesn't do super well metric wise, it's just refining my skill set, so even if a video sucks big time, it's a learning process lol
A lot of other people in the comments seem to like it so I would say it is a success! Not many people like to do different editing styles, so do be able to do multiple of them well is seriously impressive. GGs
@@sylver4494 Ayyy thank you bro hahahah. Plus another nice thing for me now is I have a truly, obscenely massive storage drive, so I no longer have to uninstall games or delete clips that I film. So now I can hold onto the clips from new videos and be able to do a montage and then either do a guide or just clips with commentary, which is nice.
@@KryticalError That actually reminded me that I have an external drive that I can put my footage on, and being able to reuse footage for guides is going to save ya a lot of headeache!
This is still my favorite video that I have made, and it is because of that EXACT 5 seconds or so hahahah. I appreciate your sensibilities on that one!

@@Lichtbringer8888 I honestly couldn't tell you lol, I've never leveled a character from scratch other than my very first character ever. Every other character has either been from free boosts or I leveled them with XP tomes from PVP and WvW lol. I sometimes go around and do zones for world completion and they seem cool, tho!

@@incursionessgaming Appreciate ya! For the amulet I generally run Carrion, Doom and Smoldering on PD and Energy Cleansing on staff. I think some Necros are starting to run Rabid amulets with so much power damage in the game and so many classes that can blink onto you cross map lol, but I still roll Carrion currently. For rune and relic I run Aristocracy, but any Condi oriented set up is viable with this build.
Mostly Vegas Pro for general assembly / color grading / speed ramping. I'll use AE or Premier in certain cases for effects and stuff. I'm trying to work towards using Adobe Premier and phase out Vegas completely, but it's a comfort program for me for sure lol. Yooooo thank you and thanks for checking out the vid and dropping a comment. Good question! I put the software i use at the end of every video usually, but I'm always happy to chat in the comments. So I record gameplay and music using Nvidia Shadowplay. I do most of the basic editing in Vegas Pro, and I will add additional effects in either Adobe After Effects or Premier Pro. I'm trying to move away from Vegas and ONLY use the Adobe suite, but old habits.... I also do something called interpolation to smooth out my gameplay capture, because even tho while playing my framerate is usually like 120 FPS, Shadowplay can sometimes degrade the quality a little, so I use free software called Flow Frames to restore the footage to 120 FPS (even tho you can only get 60 FPS on YT, it makes a difference) I also use a website called Motion Array that has a variety of professional resources like templates for Adobe programs, stock video footage, different effects, overlays, etc.
