Jumps/Glitches all working in July 2024.
If some jumps are not working for you, you did something wrong - keep trying.
Some jumps need an additional [jump] before using staff 5 - with the right timing this makes your staff 5 higher.
Please don't abuse this to flip T2/3 stuff.
I made this video, hoping Anet finally fixes all the glitches once they get so widely known, Anet can't ignore it anymore.
All of the jumps were recorded on my own accounts.
None of the players seen in the background have anything to do with me or were involved in the jumps.

Explanation why I made this video:
In the past few weeks I noticed a drastic increase in the number of players using bugs/glitches to jump into WvW objectives on the EU server.
For some years now I had an unlisted RU-vid playlist with a lot of jumps into towers and keeps. Just to show it to some friends and stuff.
I even offered the playlist to the GW2-support. But they never showd interest in fixing the issue.
Now that more and more players are aware of at least some of these jumps and are shamelessly using and abusing them, I have decided to publicly share all the jumps I know. Hoping that Anet will fix them eventually if the public attention becomes too much.
I've been thinking about the release for a while now and have come to the conclusion that the situation is already bad with many players using jumps. So hopefully my video won't make this situation too much worse.
Anet has in fact already fixed some jumps in the past few years. But only those that have become very well known.
ANET: I ask you - please fix this! It is no fun if one single condi thief can flip your tier 3 keep in under 1 minute without anyone noticing it.

95% of the skips are performed by: Thief. Everyone I see doing it: Thief, and most of the hackers I have met: thief... does anyone else see the pattern? joke aside thanks a lot for putting this and let's cross our fingers that this becomes so widely spread that Arenanet's only option is to FIX this.

the fact that they added a portal to thief in 2019 while knowing those skips are possible is still a mistery. Unless they don't care.

The most frustrating is that besides them not doing anything to fix it, reporting people getting into objectives doesn't do anything either. Not even with a support ticket and OBS footage. It's as if they are saying "yeah yeah, we know it, just ignore it and keep playing"...

Exactly! Thank you for this comment! There is not even a suitable selection option in the player-report-window ingame. You can‘t report some1 for exploiting or match manipulation or something like that. But the screenshot of Roys answer at the end of the video shows they don‘t care.

Thank you for sharing this. I doubt they do anything, it's been for years now, so well documented but it's good you try! If Anet would care more to make this game better than it already is.

Cool video. Already knew how to break into all of these objectives shown in the video but it's always fun to see some other ways of breaking in. There's also another way of doing it which doesn't require teleport skill and can be done with any class. It allows you to get into objectives like O'del Academy, Alpine BL NE tower, Quentin Lake, SM inner, Crankshaft Depot, Mendon's Gap, Durios Gulch. If I remember correctly it should work for even Klovan Gully, Wildcreek Run and Anzalias Pass and many other objectives already shown in this video. But yeah it really sucks that Anet hasn't done anything to try and fix them even after all these years and people keep abusing them heavily.

Most of these would be realatively easy to fix. One is to not have a gap at the top of the gates. Higher walls and cliffs would be another.

in red lake on green border you can enter with weaver leap or any tp, you enter with the mount and then you use the mount to get where you jump with the staff, then you target a npc from the tower up and while you jump out of the platform in the air you use the leap and you get on the top of the tower :)

Also it works with untamed ambush with the dagger if you do it too, aswell as the other tps you can do with the weaver

@@RNDMplayer Only thing I can think of is either with spectral return or some use of wurm fuckery, and maybe scourge portal.

@@majinpvegeta I don't think spectral return would enable any skips since that skill seems to go back to the exact position (regardless of range or "valid path") and can be activated at any time, unlike thief sword 2. Thief sword 2 cannot be activated in freefall and won't teleport back to the original location if there's no "valid path," but will still activate and teleport you along the best approximation of the "valid path" from your current position to the set point. My theory for why this works with thief sword 2: Since you can buffer thief sword 2's return to activate just as you jump, it's being tricked to create a "closest valid path" based on wherever your mid-air location is read as your location on the terrain--hence the teleports up cliffs and onto higher platforms, because it sees the upper terrain as the point where the "closest valid path" is, albeit blocked from reaching the set point by the wall/cliff that's supposed to keep you out.

However, I do think that the wurm's return skill can probably be used like thief sword 2, but you would rarely see it since it isn't spammable in case you mess up (like thief sword 2).

@@RNDMplayer Sorry I forgot to answer, I can try to make a vid to show you, you use flesh wurm for it, you just jump in the moment when you take it back, exact same as sword 2 on thief. Some places you can combine jumps from warclaw, leaps from harbinger and even sand portal from scourge where people can jump and take the port in the air to get in as well. I also know sword elementalist can be used as well but you require a target inside.

This just further prove my point that teleportation in this game needs to be looked at and reworked. And jump as well although this is relatively more easy to fix

_''And jump as well''_ Man, *_jumping_* has always been so buggy, even since the beta release of GW2 ahahahah - I remember using various emotes during Beta _(early 2012, months before release)_ - such as /sit or /sleep - and you could still jump which led to hilarious animations ahahaha Throughout the years, ANET also realized jumping while using some traversals skills allowed for some access to various areas in the game, so rather then adding some invisible walls to block access, they killed the fun by making it impossible to cast those skills while airborne... Which sucks because they added lots of fun and variety and the occasional ''get me out of trouble' move

Knew some of those too, but thanks for extending my short list. What about the jump reset thing if i may ask ? Never understood the whole process of it and when i'm partially told about it, Anet seems to have "fixed" it though i'm still seeing some negated fall damage (escaping death) every once in a while that makes me wonder how are they now doing this ?!

There is a third party program that allows you to do things in GW2 that are against Anets ToS. No falldmg is one of them. Idk if there are other ways of completely negating falldmg.

@@RNDMplayer oh of course there are 3rd party programs, no doubt about that. But i've also been told of some other means such as using "bell choir" somehow to reset fall and i understand it's also used for reaching the sky with skyscale. i've been told (and demonstrated) the bell choir thing but i understand it would be fixed now. I was wondering if there may be alternatives to it having seen those fall damage resets after that fix, other than a 3rd party program. That's still unfair, cheating, using bugs, you_name_it, i just want to understand it so i don't doubt my eyesight :-)

Sword 2 > sword 2 again + jump instantly after, so that your second sword 2 animation is done while in the air. You may need to practice the timing a little bit. But it's pretty easy usually.

2:40 this is just random. The Game doesnt let u launch from warclaw so its random if u get launched. Tried this 100x and it only worked 2x

This jump is not easy, but it is not random. The goal is to cancel the warclaw-skill-1 animation with space spamming. A friend of mine needs 2-3 tries to do this jump, I need a few more. Apparently it's easier, if you flick your cam to the right, while using skill 1. Maybe use actioncam for that.

That's not gonna fix the problem. You can still solo flip the objectives and you can still jump into a LOT of objectives as mesmer. Also there are several other ways of jumping into stuff with other classes than thief, which I didn't show here.

it's a feature, just like pray flicking in RuneScape. I agree some of the ez ones should be fixed like Stoic Rampart, but several of them are super hard to pull of, and only a skilled player would A be able to learn and do it, B it would take so much time to learn it and do it that usually capping the normal way is faster / way better if you count ppt wise...

None of these jumps need skill. You only need to know how they work and a bit of time to try around. And most of them are very quick - only some staff jumps (mostly into Alpine Garri) can be a bit time consuming. And I completely disagree with you: ALL of these exploits should be fixed!
