Especially in light of the Rule of Law effects, I feel like not including Swan Song was a missed opportunity. "I'm sure that spell was gonna be great, but here's a stupid bird instead."

I remember building him as my very first commander before I even knew how to properly deckbuild. The fact that I somehow knew to include Azor's Elocutors, but not including any way to protect them is hilarious in hindsight. I definitely will properly rebuild around him 10 years later

Idk if I missed it but Teferi's Ageless Insight is great in pillow fort/group hug decks to make up for the extra card draw you're giving everyone else.

I built Gwafa as a control deck. Optimizing draw, counter manipulation, steal stuff... but I also leave room to attack in so I can keep the pressure on.

Nice timing, I just brewed a janky of this deck! Rather than the rule of laws I'm playing all those cards like iron maiden and ebony owl to try and ping them out 😁 (I already have a rule of law deck so I don't think my playgroup wants to see another one😬)
