He’s very right. Plan plan plan. Take your time and do your research. Use your bank account regularly, show that you deposit money and withdraw. Use reputable people. Most times if you have a host you don’t even have to use any companies you can apply for yourself if you have food paper work. Also target good weather don’t just wake up in the middle of winter and apply for a visitors visa unless you can explain your reasons really well. I think desperately people want to leave Uganda and make mistakes as they’re in a hurry. Plan almost a year before you plan to travel. My opinion!!!

Ugandan mwebereremu I live in canada and am a permanent resident I agree with hajji with abt 60% but I disagree with him with some miss information. 1 you don't have yo have an accommodation to come to canada there are shelters and living or arriving and go to a shelter does not affect your claiming asylum 2 you dont need any persons signature apart from applying for yr visa yourself 3
The Canadaian embassy in Nairobi does not interview but when you get the visa and arrive in Canada that is where the interview and showing of paper work is. So be careful Ugandans when you ask for a Canadian visa. Bakukwata ku airport. Be very very prepared. Also here in Canada most of us Ugandans are settled we have proper documentation either citizenship or permanent resident. Canada is not like the US where you can live there without papers. Same with U.K. it’s so difficult to live here without documentation. You can no longer work wansi wekimeeza. To prove identity getting a job is where you can be caught. You’d have to be lucky for someone to even give you their docs to work as the minute they pick up that there are people using same bipapula, if they don’t write to you to inquire which is your first job and second job they will charge you so much in taxes that person will stop you from using them.
You are right Canada also is not easy! My friend came there she had a sister there, her sister was working there and she was transferred to Kenya. She real suffered! Canada is not easy as people think!
