She's the -Hallowed- Seamstress. She was lost under the ocean BEFORE the Ruination, meaning she sank in Blessed isles waters; NOT Shadow Isles. The green dolls mght have not been spared that fate and were fully corrupted by the Black Mist, rather than blessed by Hallowed mists.

@@Nazuiko i mean the definition of hallowed means blessed and gwen was blessed with life by isolde's love. regardless of where she's from, her title alone suggests she has nothing to do with death. She's the "hallowed seamstress" after all, not the "ruined" one.

Xin zhao ult on w, 200 years

yup, better Xin ult on a basic ability. Xin's does do damage, but it's really bad, usually less than just autoing. So really only the Damage ignore matters, but he can still be CC'd, Gwen can't. Point in Xin's favour is his stays around himself no matter how far he moves; but we'll see how much that matters when Gwen's in a teamfight and can just stand in it and reach everyone she needs to.

@@Bladius_ Xin doesn't take any damage for any reason outside his ult. Gwen cant be targeted but I think she can still be hit and damaged and by aoe abilities idk if that's the interpretation but it would be lame if its just like Xin ult

To be fair, the AoE on his ultimate is significantly smaller.

It is literally vladimir w against ranged champs only so no worry. Against melees it has no effect whatsoever when you are inside the zone.

@@Lorikhlb against melees it can be used to dodge combos, as she has mobility that she can use to reposition the shroud. Thats actually a really nice skill expression on the kit.

@@NeverEverClever agree. A j4 e+q will never land on her. He'd have to be right ontop of her and she has troll by not using her dash. The power creep has gotten so bad that they made an ap bruiser that cannot get engaged upon, who has immunity to both ranged champions, and melee champion engages.

Riot always does this: back when spell vamp was a big issue they released vlad. Whatever the biggest issue is - boom heres a champ the can abuse that.

Now there is even more healing than before. Now you can get healing and tankiness in the same items.

AP Xin is bad. Don't try it. Just build triforce into steraks.

not really, its the same as xin zhao, but instead of seeing the health bar you dont, they both have immunity to people outside a certain range, just xin has his health bar visible, so you can target him, but it still wont do damage

Her W ability is quite a bit different i think. Without the ability to knock people out except one, it functions completely differently. While xin zhao uses it as an ability that allows him to recklessly engage, gwen w doesn’t allow that, since the ability does nothing if enemies are inside the radius. Its closer to a senna e but instead of invisible she’s untargetable and phases through skillshots. This means that she can use w, phase through a jinx rocket, and screw her adc behind her since it only applies to herself. Its a unique ability that also seems pretty useless against melee bruisers, she might be a mid laner based solely on this ability.

Except that xin ults is an AOE KNKCKBACK and moves with him more than a single time. What youre seeing is a melee toplaner with no cc whatsoever, of course that needs compensation.

no damage or push back on her w, she needs to reposition against other melees to use it, and can be forced out of it fairly easily

That W is ridiculous i smell a major nerf to it or complete rework needed after release. Can you imagine if you have gwen, samira, xin on the same team? A bunch of untargetable/immune to dmg and windwall like ridiculousness. Its like riot doesnt even think about how these abilities work with other champions.

@@uhasuhdude6567 Play a bruiser. I think that's all Gwen is, she's a bruiser who is good into what usually counters her class, but is probably going to be bad against things like Fiora, Camille, etc.

Nah, nashors tooth will simply be weak for her because of her lack of survivability against melees. She has a very long all in but will probably be dead if you're not building health

Do you understand that no one cares about pro play when a new champs is revealed? It's about soloq experience. She looks like a really strong character that can easily snowball and 1v9 most of the games. Her W is situational? No way, she can just use in in every single teamfight and it will help her to survive in all of the cases. Even if she can just mitigate one auto from the adc, it's a huge deal. She has insane true dmg in her basic skill Q, dashes with almost 0 cooldown, insane on hit damage. It looks like she can delete tanks and squishies in the same time. Adding her W makes her really unhealthy for the enemy team to play around. Seems like a cancer.

Asides from that, let’s say she can snowball... you know who else can snowball? Fiora, which I may add that they are similar champs. When was the last time you cried about Fiora being broken? There are many champs whose nature is to snowball, yet win rates aren’t as high as champs who have stronger and more consistent kits and play style. The only way I see her W used in lane, as a top laner, which is what riot seems to want her to go, is when she gets gank by a jungler who uses a skill shot to cc. Most matchups in top are melee matchup, therefore the fact that she can’t be targeted OUTSIDE of the mist is not a factor in most trades. In a teamfight she brings nothing to the table. Her kit has no hard cc, and her ult is the only spell which does a tiny bit of aoe. Her W might help her dodge a skillshot, and sure, that can help a lot but it’s not like she can then go bonkers and 1v9 afterwards. And this is where we talk about numbers: unless the amount of armor and magic resists are absolutely BONKERS when she cast W then it’s a broken spell, unless her true damage is like Camille Q then it is broken. You can’t say her dash has zero cooldown because it is situational cooldown reduction, she has to land basic attacks to reduce the cooldown, we don’t even know if she can dash walls. So the point is that for her to be broken then she must have strong numbers because her kit, believe it or not, is not that great when you compare her to other champions played in top lane.

@@tkpipo have you noticed that every single champ that riot is releasing lately needs to be nerfed for the next 6 months until it becomes balanced? Every single champ riot releases is broken. Viego, samira, seraphine are the latest 3 examples
