There were so many GREAT singers in that day, all the artists had to bring their vocal 'A game' or go home! Not like today, where mostly everything is synthesized.
@ronnie, tanx pard for tonite Jams. you get a chance look up etta James sings ' security '. or Warren zevon is singing ' werewolfs of London ', tanx, more likely to come your way, pard.
My Grandmother used to play this on a Zenith TV Record Player Console back in the day (70’s). I remember her love for music which made me a lover of music! Man those were some awesome times and the music was always top notch!!!
I am here in 2024 , but what I can say one of the loveable songs that's there to listen to everyday as years go on. Waken up the LOVE 💗💗 definitely ❤️💕
This certainly brings back good memories of my dancing days Was 23 then, and unmarried at the time. Disco was our thing at that time. Now 71 divorced and a mom who constantly reminds my son that his mom was killing it then. He just smiles at laughs at our get up and colours of those days😅😅😅.
Have the best memories a decade ago of my best friend & i’s high school graduation and his family dancing to this the second I played it. Ill always love this, and def listening to this for over a decade+
I was 12 in 75...Coming of Age...My song Playlist starts with this here today! Love to all from the Redwoods of Northcoast Cali!!! Make Love not War!!!❤
Once upon a time when we had "SOUL MUSIC"! Some forget this very talented artist had hits thru the 80's as well. Made grown black folk have a totally different perception of your average Rocking Chair!
And look at Ma Manhattan today, they preping to celebrate in their underwear, dancing and partying in public to show off their prosteriors and all that, smh while utube look to censor your comments, smh.
Dang, I’ve got major goosebumps listening to this EXTENDED version in 2024, with nice instrumental breaks added. This was one of my favorites in high school!!! Sounds great today just like then🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤ Thanks for making my day a Happy one 👍🏻👍🏻
Fabulous mix, this takes me back to my first year as a professional DJ at David's Disco in Toronto Canada. This is the song that made me fall in love with Gwen's voice. She was a sweet and kind lady who came to our record pool to promote this when it came out. I finally met George McCrae in 2017 at The 40th Anniversary Concert for Saturday Night Fever, great people. Thanks for the trip down memory lane DJ DISCOCAT
Chilli Pepper of the Baton Show Lounge bought me here. She passed on 9/11/24 and introduced me to this timeless classic. Listening thinking of her performing this in heaven. RIP Chilli

Im so grateful for Daddy and his era of music from the 70s on back and my sister and I were 9 and 10yrs old in the 70s and omg that's all I know today and even though my 3 kids who're in their late 30s listen to hip hop they always tell me how they're glad i introduced them to this music 🎵🎶 because it melts my heart when I hear them cleaning up the house.. washing their cars or whatever and listening to the real music. I'm grateful for this music it brings 😢to my eyes ❤❤❤
