Way to take the comment completely out of context and try to mom shame. She’s talking about scheduling her time around the kids’ custody schedule so when she has them in her custody,that time is devoted to them. And I’m saying this as a never divorced, stay at home mom. It’s been a blessing, but everyone’s life and choices are different. One is not superior. Gwen does value her kids. That’s why she dropped out of the limelight for years at the height of her popularity. You don’t see that happen often. Just wondering why we never have these discussions about men putting their careers on pause for their kids??
Leave it to a guy to try to mom shame a woman. Do you also shame parents who are in the military who have to be away for months at a time? Or parents who are doctors who have to work long hours? What about dads who have to travel frequently for their jobs? Gwen was talking about scheduling her work around her custody schedule. You took that out of context to try to shame women for working. Sorry Gwen, you will never be a country singer. Blake has to try his best to sell a record. Gwen needs to give it up with being half dressed and wearing mini skirts. Gwen doesn’t want to be a country singer. Why would she? Gwen doesn’t have a lane. She’s a worldwide icon that’s had hits in every genre- pop, rock, alternative, hip hop, ska/reggae, and yes country now with Blake. Miranda stays in her lane because that’s all she can do. Miranda benefitted from being 1 of 2 token female artists that country music allowed to have play the last 15 years (Carrie Underwood being the other). For the most part they were shutting females out. Now they’re getting called out on it and you see a flood of radio play, awards, and new female artists. Not sure if Miranda would’ve stood out as much if she had that kind of competition back then. There’s no denying she also benefitted from the PR from her marriage to Blake. She’s a decent songwriter. I’ll give you that. If Miranda is happy in her marriage and doing well, why are you so bitter? It’s obvious after the fact that Blake and Miranda were not a good match (except for the country PR aspect). They may have both found the person they can be settled with now. Let everyone be happy.
