I was just in the editor messing around with a shackles control version of druids, and just yesterday I was wanting to run the discard package, so this video really gave me a laugh. It's good to see you posting again Q.
Alchemy druids is probably my most played archetype and also one of the most accidentally nerfed archetypes. Even though they had their leader, crow mother and bride of the sea buffed, they also got hit by Otkell, Ale of ancestor and Dwimaendra nerfs, which makes their provisions more thight every time. I'm still playing Ale and Otkell, because they are playing for almost as good amount of points as In Gedyneith's shadow, but it's a little sad the archetype gets weaker with every patch. A lot of people were commenting to nerf freya's blessing last patch (which is perfecfly fine card), which would be another accidental nerf if it would happen, hopefully it won't.
To clarify, the number you see in the deck builder beside the leader is a bonus rather than a cost. The number is higher so that we have more provisions to work with due to the fact that it is one of the more underwhelming abilities the faction offers. The archetype could be solid with a few small provision buffs to supporting cards.
This video was rank 4 since I took 2-3mo off and I’m working my way back to pro. This is meant to document my experience and showcase the deck more than anything.
