This is probably the closest we'll ever get to a video game representation of the Polish Mafia. In fact, remember Ramsmeat from the first game? He was based on an actual Polish mob-boss Jeremiasz Barański, alias; "Leszek" or "Baranina" (which is Polish for 'ramsmeat')
frankly, in 2023, only the music is what keep Gwent alive; the gameplay is somewhat not as fun as 2020-2021 period the card design brings some unbalance and abuse in ranked games
@@balazs.bence300 I am bro, I have read them more than once :) When Visimir was murdered, Philippa and DJ's council started ruling Redania, it was more like tyranny as legitimate heir was Radovid the Redanian. DJ was part od the plan of killing the King (traitor) Dijkstra and Philippa disgraced both Visimir and Radovid af (The Lady of the Lake chapter 11). Visimir was not even mentioned even though he was a true hero. Radovid however did not even exist in his eyes. (disgracer) They forced little Radovid to hide, Hemmelfart took him. Legitimate ruler was forced to flee from his home (forced others to flee)
Witcher ost was composed by Marcin Przybylowic, Percival songs was changed and used. Mostly it was his achievement to change folk style songs to what you hear in witcher games 😀
That moment when you use freakshow to wipe the whole opponent board on deploy then you use junior to wipe the whole board on deploy again then you use cleaver for crownsplitters then play drill to wipe the board on deploy for the 3rd time
Its because one of the leaders is a pirate. The Chello represent the deepest novigrad (Bastard junior, sacabuche, and other guy) and the other instruments represent the High novigrad (Eternal fire corruption, and Dijkstra criminal band)
7:09 when the enemy is 42 and you’re 15 in the last round and then you pull out that one card and tear the game upside down just as this theme starts playing. They had no clue they were playing against the final boss of the game
I never thought a single gwent deck would make me feel as queasy as this one. The prostitutes are kinda fun but damn, if the crime cards, drug addicts, beggars and street violence aren't unsettling af.
I was in love with old gwent before the big update that changed everything then i was kinda meh.But im so glad i got back into gwent for all these changes and the syndicate :)
I recommend listening to the whole thing. Don't thank him or don't even credit someone who can't even appreciate the slow bits. People like you make me sick
@@GaunterODinn Do you know that most of people here arrived here for the best part of this pretty good soundtrack. I just help them find it quickly. *Chill man*
Im a bit late i know. Anyway. This ismy favorite soundtrack in gwent so war. Its greatly increase adrenaline while playing. Like everyone has their first match with or against syndikate. When you and opponent go point to point and noone knows who gonna win . Then finaly there 1 cart left in both hands. Theme kicks in. And after final round you have 1 point more than opponent. Arent that great feeling?
@@Thewolfstation24 well, Fallen Knights are just eternal fire priests on crack. They benefit off each Spawn. Not Just the first Trigger like the priest so a congegrate basically Triggers it 3 times. Oh and did i mention it also has intimidate? Plus Veil? (The new dlc made fireswarm from a joke to the 4th crusade basically)
Fav best to worst(all good regardless) 1. Scoiatel/ Dwarves Hella Adrenaline 2. Skellige- Best themes in Beta def. 3. Northern Realms- grew on me in TB 4. Syndicate- Novigrads Witcher 3 5. Nilfgaard- SHOULD'VE used Retribution and TB ost. Unfortunate 6. Monsters least fav as always. Only real gripe is losing the actual Skellige themes of the beta and TB had great theme that should've been used for NR and NFG. Thx for uploading
