picture this: I play Kelthuliss agains mill (my own version, no Speartip, no Ciri, but Arachanis queen, some things to eat her, I have nothing in first round, naked Kelly and support, he takes it with Jenifer. I loose first round. Second, he plays Kelly, and I winn (as it doesn;t mater who has it:), he mills me, we end up with one card in hand, second round, I have only on car left - so 2 against his 4, but mine is sabbath, and ale:) I play sabbath, got back arachnid queen (who ate witchers aprientice), barghast and Nithral - he gets great cards - I eat queen (after I boost barghast with ale), get piggy, he plays his golem, he is in lead - but forgets Kelly triggering, he pass - Kelly eat one of his cards, I win :)
I had vial in the original version until I had a board state where I wasn't able to gain vitality when playing it and realized it could present an issue. I'm not against having it though if played carefully.
i feel like poison is strong but is so linear that this kind of decks or control decks like Off the books can handle it very well because you already know what is the game plan of the oponent.
Normally I really like your decks, but as a Kelly player Im not so sure about this one. Tome is a trap card here. Sure its nice to have access to your specials, but allowing opponent to play 2 cards in a row pretty much guarantees that defender is useless. I also prefer more tutors in mine, especially ihuarraquax feels nice, when it is pulling their Simlas :)
Definitely one of those cards you have to be careful playing depending on the matchup, but I stand by it because In the past I lost so many games from missing Oneiromancy and now Sabbath feels equally important. I think the biggest obstacle with Tome is knowing when to play it. In matchups where it feels sketchy it can be taken before a pass to thin or find Oneiro, a dry pass round by the opponent or a last say in a short round 3 for Sabbath. Quax is great but Speartip would likely have to go in that case.
frost will KILL this easy, leader has 2 movement uses, meaning if you defender then kelly you can move defender tthen move kelly in one turn, also there are multiple MO cards that move a card and some that even syngergize with frost, i made 2 kelly decks quit by using leader round 1 and they quickly passed and then tried to sabbath in round 2 and i promptly moved the defender and kelly again to ranged and they both quit after that lol
Gwent is already solitaire like unless you're a control deck how much do u really have to think about what your opponent plays but Kelly decks are at the top.
I laughed my ass off with that card, the enemy had it in the melee row and they had the higher number of cards on the field and I had more points, he prolly thought he could quick kill my cards and I just passed. Instead he kept killing his own cards then he just forfeited till he has no cards left. That left me laughing hard.
The second I saw the new poison cards I started to lament the new meta, not only because the poison deck would be incredibly annoying to play against but mostly because I knew immediately that Kelly was gonna absolutely dunk on the poison meta
3 game, last round Don't you think that missplay was allowed? The opponent would have played his last card and the move would not have passed to you. So his unit shouldn't have burned down, should it?
Is the Bridge on the Yaruga Board intentional? Kelly + Yaruga = Thronebreaker Stream for premium Kelly confirmed? Played different versions of Devo ST all day yesterday and although it does have a lot of points I personally just don't feel safe without my heatwave or yenvo ^^
@@Qcento Yeah it's quite a mouthful of gameplay to go though! But if I can catch the stream I can help guide you to a lot of the premium card chests, it's not been that long ago when I collected them myself ✌️
So, feedback for the Kelly deck. Played 11 games and in 9 games I came against opponents with heatwave and geralt destroying 9 powered unit. That's defender and Kelly gone. 9 out of 11! No coincidence there, bud. Imagine that.
@@iamcem If the deck is not answered by banishing kelly, its over, hence, binary gamplay. This deck requires no setup and dies against anything with 2 banish control tools. See triple gerni for reference. Decks that require no skill to play, dont care about board state... Pure trash...
