scholar who walks the night would be better if the lead couple is gwi and hye ryeong.gwiryeong has more impact to me than yang sun and sung yeol.if only they had a happy ending this drama is so beautiful.sadly they had a sad ending :
Kim song yul mistook hye ryeong for his past lover Myeong Hee who had died to save him infront of Gwi, the crown prince/king Lee Yoon fell for the Queen slowly, the Queen Hye Ryeong fell for the King and chose to protect him from Gwi just like Myeong Hee did for Kim Song Yul and died saying she had no regrets, yet Gwi was in love with Hye Ryeong unknowningly, her wit, confidence, he was attracted to her and drawn to her blood and scent and like the idea of her being his woman(you could see the pride and happiness he felt when he walks through the throne room infront of all Ministers when she's by his side. He was even unknowingly a bit jealous of the Queen's relationship with the King. (Remember how he asked her if she was happy after he had made her Queen?)...it's ironic everyone was so worried on what would happen to Kim Song Yul/The Night's scholar's will to be human and continue living and fighting for humans if Yang Sun/Seo Jin was killed, everyone spent years on a secret plan to kill Gwi yet no one bothered about Gwi's will to continue living his boring long life, who could have known that what made his boring life interesting was the continuous banter and sight of a woman, that Gwi's will for living was a woman as well, one who ironically resembles Kim Song Yul's past lover and that with her death, nothing truly mattered anymore....no secret plan was truly needed.
xD omg u really played them well together i watch the drama and i know the story but my sister didn't watch it x) she thought that they are "linked" by soul together and they are deeply inlove X)
I searched up song jae rim and then i was watching videos of them, shipping hard, and i came across this video and now i want to kms. (btw good edit lol)
