The lag annoyed me as well, just had my second service and they did a software update, The lag seems a lot better now👍

If you have lag when taking off then you don’t know how to drive your Cannon, you don’t plant your foot down when taking off! You gently put your foot on the pedal, once you feel a pull then you plant your foot!

Spend $150-$200 on a throttle controller, this will eliminate the lag and give you much smoother takeoffs. I Drive is one brand, plug and play.

Hi guys, great content. Look into an idrive about $230 from Repco, I have a 2017 Mitsubishi Triton (waiting on my Cannon X) the Mitsi also had a terrible turbo lag but a idrive completely eliminated it. They have 18 different settings, simple to put in. Basically it changes the electrical input from your accelerator to your engine. I thought they were a gimmick but now swear by them. Safe driving

I own a Cannon X with 30000kms. I have always been a supporter of the brand until now. I went to the dealer Autostrada in Western Australia, for a service and had them look at a minor warranty issue for a delaminating park brake button, along with recalling for the headrests to be replaced. This work was booked in over a month prior to the service date. It’s been over a year and when going to book my 30000kms service I enquired again as the the park brake and it turn out that even though the dealer told me it was warranty and would be replaced they had not even ordered the part and not submitted a warranty claim to GWM/HAVAL. Not only this they did not replace the recall item on the headrests. When I approached GWM/HAVAL HQ I was told it’s my problem and they have nothing to do with it. So basically, your on your own. Ok so you might think this is a dealer/service department issue but can you imagine if this was a larger warranty issue and this was the support you expect to receive. I was going to look at a new vehicle next year and I can be sure GWM/HAVAL are off the list. Warranty support is critical to me and this seals the deal. Thanks for no support GWM/HAVAL, if warranty is important to you seriously consider other brands, as GWM/HAVAL do not provide customer support.

Gracias por lindo video informativo, los seguiremos, claro que si, yo compre la misma en ENERO 2022 idéntica a la que tienes, solo que la compre en PERÚ y el problema de la puerta lo tengo también, en el mismo lado, solo que en sud américa el timón es a la derecha donde esta el conductor, en conclusión es una falla de fabrica menor en el correcto cerrado de la puerta y si se cierra un poco mas fuerte, algo pequeño para todas las bondades y maravillas que tiene la CANNON / POER AT . lo reportare en el mantenimiento preventivo de 5,000 , POER se dice en Sudamérica (CANNON) tiene recién 2,000 km y es una maravilla, . El turbo LAG para ciudad lo elimino al 90% a mi parecer, cuando lo pongo en modo de conducción SPORT y sensibilidad del timón en cómodo )al medio de las 3 posiciones electrónicas de suavidad de timón) , sale rápido en intersecciones, es muy sensible muy reactivo el pedal del acelerador, parece una SUV lo recomiendo verán la diferencia. tantas maravillas que hablar de la Bucky PICK UP POER AT LUX PLUS de Great Wall Motors , ya vieron la baja Snake, Tank 300- 500? saludos desde Lima Perú bendiciones vayan con dios en la carretera, hermoso viaje que tendrán, José.

So can you tell me how it tows with weight? Reason I ask I’m brickie and tow a twin axle trailer, I currently have ranger 2l twin turbos and has plenty power, but little dubious as how this Ute tows with single turbo

Hi guys, When I tow my trailer when I stop on the traffic lights, bumper sensors start bleeping. I can turn that off but on the next traffic lights they start beeping again. Can I turn them off completely during towing?
