Great video mate. I look forward to the caravan test. I don't think anyone has done a video yet of the Tank 500 towing capabilities. Also, that fitting looked like a pain in the arse. I think I'd rather you guys install it 😂

100% it was 😂😂 definitely not easy. Tank 300 and cannon is easy just not the 500 I was over it doing it after hours lol

Question with the tow kit. I have a MDC camper that requires power to charge the trailer battery, if your keen you can find the requirements for the power from the car to the camper trailer on the MDC Web site. Is there a special requirement for the Tank 500 like a VSR, how will it be installed in the Tank 500.

Hey mate, I have an issue. Let’s see if you can resolve it or put me on a track to find the bit. It’s the air conditioning essence in the area where the usb is on a tank 500 ultra , where can I get essence sticks to replace once the essence I finished. There’s also a SIM card along with the cartridge. This will be a brainner for you. Cause my dealer and service have no idea, I’m the only one that pointed it out and they didn’t even know it. If you don’t respond with a reasonable answer where I can buy and how to install it I’ll never rate you videos or like. Cheers.

Ok when using adaptive cruise control with this harness, does the electric brakes for the the trailer work as you are not puti g your foot on the brake. This is the reason why the factory harness disables adaptive cruise control.

Yes 100% works with cruise control. Imagine if you use cruise control normally and when the car automatically brakes the brake lights active.

@@SavageTechAustralia Actually because it uses Regenerative Braking the Brakes lights probably don't come on & thats why GWM have built in the disconnect feature. So you need to further investigate the issue other wise it could come back & bite you if a crash is caused by it.

Hi, will this work for the cannon alpha? I'm having trouble with getting the original harness to work with the adaptor. Can seem to read any power coming out of the car plug harness for what I need. Gwm dealership couldn't get it going with red arc controller. I can't seem to work out colours of cable from the car for the trailer, no information. Also would you know where the information for the fuse box inside the car is to tell you what fuse is what.
