Our family adventure to the GWR Steam museum in Swindon, Wiltshire.
It's a great day out and the weather can't spoil it as the whole museum is under cover in the converted old great western railway sheds.
As a grown up there is a lot to look at, and for the children there are plenty of little things to do all the way round including a little Thomas the tank engine ride (which surprisingly they weren't interested in).
At the end of it all there is a really nice cafe that caters for young and old at quite reasonable prices.
