Behringer confirmed a CS-80 clone in the works to me today. There’s nothing on iOS, so maybe Cherry Audio could be the cherry on the cake. I’ll have to check this video out in the morning. It’s so late at night here now.
One tip if you run into issues with CPU bandwidth turn off the Galactic reverb on patches. I should use this more, I did a really long performance demo with it when it came out. I think there's some magic in there. This one, Elka-X, Mercury 6... were so good. And Sines although I never do sound design with that.
The gx1 has2 x cs80 synths in it and the sy1. Sonicstate has a tour of yamahas museum in Japan they spent some time on the dream machine used by stevie wonder abba and emerson lake and palmer has some very interestting details avout it like thr top keyboard actually has side to side wiggle and there us a knee sideways controller lots more go hunt it down
Oh yeah, I watched that video, it was really interesting, our keyboard player had a CS80 too, back in the early 80s, we never giged it, it was too heavy and we were all weaklings 👍😊
@@TheSoundTestRoom I also had a cs60 for that reason it was still very heavy but I gigged in 4 days a week for 5 years no issues it lived in my padded van only took it out to put on stage not at the other end.
@@TheSoundTestRoomno sorry I owned a cs80 and have seen the gx1 no controller can controller it today the same it's a unique setup even the sliders of the controllers are not the same as the levers that are reversed and and slide yet lock there's a bunch of other things on the dream macher original the whole top board slides sideways
