Hey @mudpuppy thank you for your honest review. I am redesigning both the gx460 and the 4Runner skid plates to add a cross member on the rear of both and changing the drain plug access to the gx460 skid plates. Feel free to reach out. Thanks!
Nice video! I'd love to see footage of what the front plate looks like when the GX is back on the ground. How has the weight gain changed the drive feel and gas mileage?
Havent noticed the weight at all other than the front suspension sagging a bit, going to crank up the preload. As for mpg... a slight head wind will make a way bigger differnce in mpg
Because no one makes anything dedicated for my truck I will have to remove the skid plates to get to the oil filter :-( but I run Amsoil so it's only every 20,000 miles lol
