Great video as per usual Dan...I love my GY6 ...question- How come you don't use injection...you can still use a big bore kit , it is supplied with a bigger injector 😊👍🙏
Hi i have a sym jet 125cc 4t..and fitted a tecnigas exhaust as the stock one was rusted and liked awful...the problem is the tecnigas has no lamda sensor o2 sensor on it . And the engine light has now lit up..will this damage the bike having no sensor ?
So you are "load tuning" a carb'd engine unloaded.... who do those afr's look on the street ? I was always taught 14.7 is stoic but under load a naturally aspirated engine should be around 12.5 for maximum bsfc. This video seems misinformed.
Yes and No... The video is only to demonstrate how the AFR setup works, still needs to be load tested under driving conditions....But, in instances where you switch sizes or brands and jetting is unfamiliar, you start out on the bench to get your idle and pilot... That does not need load testing.... I have done this testing a bunch, so I can pretty much get away with doing the whole thing on the bench.... Goosing the throttle / reving it up, even holding the brake and reving it up, gives a good base line and once you've done this so many times, you can pretty much extrapolate and determine final jetting on the bench....
