"No More Night" sung by Claudia Ramirez (accompanied by Erwin Nanasi) at GYC 2013. Message: Is Jesus a Threat to Your Religion (Jeffrey Rosario), Thursday evening
The timeless theme, Earth and Heaven will pass away It's not a dream, God will make all things new that day Gone is the curse from which I stumbled and fell Evil is banished to eternal hell No more night, no more pain No more tears, never crying again And praises to the great, "I am" We will live in the light of the risen Lamb See all around, now the nations bow down to sing The only sound is the praises to Christ, our King Slowly the names from the book are read I know the King, so there's no need, to dread No more night, no more pain No more tears, never crying again And praises to the great, "I am" We will live in the light of the risen Lamb See over there, there's a mansion prepared just for me Where I will live with my Savior eternally No more night, no more pain No more, no more tears, never crying again Praises to the great, "I am" We will live in the light of the risen Lamb No más noche, no más pena Ni tristeza, nunca tristeza nunca más sentirás Mi oración será Señor Aquel día contigo, yo quiero estar We will live in the light of The Risen King No more
this sounds so different to the "no words can describe what I just heard" david phelps version lol but it's still good. Soprano just isnt my thing, but the piano is really good here. Anyone find some sheets for this arrangement yet then?
Ms. Ramirez has plenty of natural ability but would greatly benefit from voice training since she lacks breath control and is slightly off key (flat). Blessings!
She sang the son beautifully. You don't need Mariah Carrey-esque to make it sound nice. In fact, the overdone gymnastics take away from the beauty of the the pure vocals as well as the deep meaning behind it. You don't need "soul" to get to the deeper meaning.
