Sophia goes hiking to Mt. Maunganui.
Also known as The Mauao summit track, the Mt Maunganui Summit walk is a hard walk up to the summit which will take around 45mins depending on which way you go. At the summit the views are awesome, well worth the huff and puff, you can see the beach the inner harbour and port, Matakana Island, para ponts, ships and boats coming and going through the small harbour entrance, just fantastic.
