This was very informative. Now I know what those sheets I always see laying around construction sites are for. Gypsum board is all around me I realize! It protects me from fire. Thank you gypsum.

I found this video very interesting. My great grandfather was a miner (unclear what) in what is now Slovakia and in 1916 he immigrated to northern Ohio and worked at the gypsum mine in Ottawa County. When I was born in the early 1970s my father worked at the gypsum board factory for about 4 years until he joined the US Coast Guard. Thank you for all the hard work you do providing material that is safe, efficient and helps mitigate building costs for hundreds of millions of people. IMO people like you toiling day after day deserve to be recognized for what you do for all of us. So please accept my humble and heartfelt, thank you! Be safe and have a wonderful day.
O wonder if this has anything to do with fewer more recent structures being haunted, since gypsum, selenite, etc are said to have properties to charge good energies & cleanse bad energy.
