I still can't believe that not a single doctor, who knew that there was nothing wrong with Gypsy at a very early age, was able to help her. The older Gypsy got however, she had no choice but to save herself, one way or another. It's really heartbreaking that the monster she was trying to escape from was her very own mother. I really hope she gets to live a good life. Ant... just FYI she got married in prison a year or so ago. Also, I am very familiar with the story and this reading was spot on. The mom had a history of scamming and allegedly she was involved in her mother´s death. The boyfriend who did it, he is still alive, serving life in prison. He is autistic and very controlling of Gipsy back when everything happened. This reading is extremely accurate!

I think there was some purposeful manipulation on her part with the ex boyfriend, who is clearly mentally unstable, and there's something she has yet to admit about how it went down. The ex boyfriend did have severe autism and had a history of mild criminal stuff, and Gypsy used Disney movies as a way of mentally escaping the world since that was one of the only things her mum allowed her to do. 15:52 The guy is still alive and has autism, which was one of the defenses in favor of him, however it was proved that he knew and had enough cognitive ability to understand that what he was doing was wrong. He had been in jail before. As for the "believed energy", they separated their bad actions into "personas" to separate them for themselves. For example, the guy claims he did not murder the mom, it was his "evil side" that did it. He spoke about himself in third person in his conversations with Gypsy, and he does have a huge vendetta against her, of course.

I just saw a video where the mothers family was talking trash about her and saying they flushed her ashes down the toilet and laughing about it, and my only thought was “you are the ones who raised her!” This family was incredibly cruel

I will say that the judge did the right thing in Gypsy Rose case. Other judges would have given her such a heavy sentence and not believe her. The judge was strategic for sure, made sure she was getting mandatory psychological help, learn everything for skills in all areas of work and was pushed to take classes and become educated. The judge, even though giving her a sentence of 10 years (served 8) made sure that she had at least everything the state could possibly give her, so when she stepped out of that prison she was more prepared for the world then her wicked mother ever did for her. Gypsy rose even talked about how she was grateful for the opportunities that even prison no less gave her. I live almost an hour outside the town she was from and I will tell you there is no one in the state of Missouri that does not, NOT think this woman isn’t a victim. She will have support not just her family, but her community. I wish her all the love she deserves and more ❤

You should watch the documentary mommy dead and dearest. This is the one she talks and tells her story by the interviewing process. The act is not 100% accurate she never met with the writers or the actress. She was horrifically abused. 2 doctors should have called the cops!! School system should have called the cops and CPS. Society failed her big time. Her mother used her as a cash cow. Her mother family was highly dysfunctional. The grandfather sexually abused the mother and gypsy-they took a bath together. The mother shaved her vagina no boundaries as a teenager too. There were what 100 surgeries. Feeding tube surgery 2 x a year!!! She had 1/2 her teeth taken out too. The horrors this girl went through should never happen to anyone ever again.

Gypsey’s maternal family said the grandma was the same way with gypsey’s mom.

I watched this before she was released and I’m coming here now after she’s been out for a week. I’ve been following her social media and this is, so far, spot on! I definitely think she feels a responsibility to not let the internet down. She has been posting and I think she is exploring her new freedom with social media and taking on a lot of things at once. I tend to have 'feelings' off of people when I see them even if its a picture or on a screen. The first thing I felt seeing that child was she was she was drained. Not ill, because that is different. When people talk about energy vampires, she looked like her life was drawn from her. But her mother in the picture was radiant with energy. The attention of the picture made her appear to be glowing. People kept questioning her stoey but I knew. And I also know it was an either or situation. If her mum hadn't gone, then Gypsy wouldn't have survived.
