I put together this quick video to show the differences between the brands Hauschen and Style Selection lighted mirrors. The Hauschen were about $50 more each, and slightly larger.
Wow! Thanks for your quick response! You are dazzling :)! Next question, I'm checking out the mirrors and some of the sizes have an "s" in in front of the size -- what does the "s" signify?
Hello Kathleen. Sorry, I am not sure what the "s" would stand for....I did a quick google search, but did not see a quick answer. I hope you find out, if you do, feel free to stop back and comment for future searchers! Thanks
Kathleen, I believe the “s” stands for “smart”. In looking at the product descriptions, it seems the models with the “s” in their name can be controles vía a smartphone app.
thanks, the only substantial info I could find on led mirrors. I assume your mirror is the Hauschen 'halo' model ? (open on the sides). Have you found the unprotected mirror edges hold up? If you had the option, would you pick a framed one?
The edges are fine, no problems or wear. I would not like it open on the sides if I could see it, but they are positioned in a way that I can’t actually see the LED’s. (I like that is open on the sides because there is more light.)
I noticed that there is a 3-year warranty if the lights need replacing, but if the lights go out after that time-period, can they be replaced or does the entire mirror need to be replaced?
They can be hardwired or plug-in. The one I bought came with the option of connecting a plug, so if you have an outlet behind the mirror you can just plug it in.
