Hatice wasn't innocent She tried to kill Hurrem so many times. And Mustafa, even If I liked him a lot ,I still prefered Hurrem. She needed to do that for her children's life. I know he promised that he wouldn't kill his Brothers If he will Be sultan, but don't forget that there was Mahidevran who would try to convinge Mustafa to kill them, and who knows... Maybe Mustafa would change his mind after his mother's insistences
