This route is one of the most beautiful in Bohemian Switzerland, mainly thanks to the views of the Elbe Valley and the Elbe River.
Děčín is a district town on the banks of the Elbe River at the mouth of the Ploučnice River. Originally, there was a Slavic stronghold of the Děčany tribe, later a princely castle. The castle area has undergone several extensions, the last one being Gothic. Other architectural attractions include the early Barkon church of St. Crosses from the years 1687-91, church of St. Václav and Blažej from the years 1754-78, a late Gothic bridge over the Ploučnica river. There are several Renaissance houses and a Neo-Gothic town hall on the square. A museum with a picture gallery, an exhibition of Gothic sculpture and time-measuring devices.
The village of Hřensko is located in a romantic rock canyon. Originally, there was a swimming and lumber settlement and warehouses. Thanks to tourism, the village developed in the 19th and 20th centuries. Historical monuments include the church of St. Jan Nepomucký from 1786. Hřensko is the final shipping station in our territory and the exit to the gorges of the Kamenice River and Pravčická Brána.
