What makes a QB elite is the ability to put his team on his shoulders, to pick them up, give them belief, to make them better. That’s what made Brady the GOAT. How did Dak react and how did his teammates react when they hit playoff adversity? Not Elite.
What Swàgoo possibly is seeing from Dak is his numbers. It's true Dak has a good quarterback rating each year. But poor performance leading up to the playoffs. I believe also no playoff wins. It doesn't take away he is a skilled quarterback. Are you prepared to bring in a rookie and start grooming him which could take years, are stay with a proven guy who will give you a better chance to win now.

Coming from a Giants fan, Dak is amazing during the season but chokes in the playoffs, let’s not kid ourselves. Kind of reminds me of another great Cowboys QB, that was the same, in Tony Romo. Idk what Dak needs to move to the next level cause he’s had one of the best o-line in the NFL protecting him and still can’t win in the playoffs even with great WRs, RBs, and TEs. If Dak can’t perform in the playoffs this coming year, cause they will make it, I’m pretty sure Cowboys will move on from Dak. Cee Dee Lamb is just Elite! Give that man his money! Lol

Dak is great against losers but a duece dropper against winning teams! What choice do the cowboys have but dook prescott? They need to start over at qb after this year anything short of a superbowl appearance! Jerry needs to win now so he will probably overpay for dak again after this season. Qb play in the NFC has been very average dooks whole career and he cant even make it to the nfc championship game. Put lamar in the nfc and he wouldve already been to a couple of superbowls. How many qbs in the afc do you have to go thru before you get to the best qbs in football that a nfc qb gets on the top qbs in football list? 8 ? If watson can capture any of his old magic and if trevor lawerence reaches his potential it may be the 10 spot or lower before a nfc qb gets on this list. It took the chiefs 50 years to realize game managers are good regular season qbs and can get you in the playoffs but if you really want any chance to get to a superbowl you better be the best nfc qb which dook is not! We are fixin to see afc dominance for the next several years unless an nfc team drafts a qb that can make plays in the big moments in the superbowl. Yhe chiefs have won 2 superbowls they had no business winning where they were not the better all around team but they had a qb that in the biggest moments was better than the opposing teams qb who couldnt make 2-4 plays that they had to have. Im afraid this trend will continue till the nfc gets a big time qb in the draft. Stafford is old/beat up his best days are over but he still is the closest thing to a difference maker in the nfc. Jalen hurts had 1 year where he could be 1 of those qbs but after last season im not sure he will be able to crack that top 10 list again. He has took too many hits running the ball so it remains to be seen whether he can repeat his superbowl year play. Even that superbowl he out played the other superbowl qb but it came down to a few plays he needed to make and the other qb seemed to make those while hurts didnt. Josh allen would make the superbowl every year in the nfc same with joe kool if he is healthy. Even though lamar jacksons sphincter tightens up in the big moments put him in the nfc and he would be in the big game every year too!
The Cowboys need to wake up in today's game you can win SBs . without a Elite QB. U can win with a lesser QB that don't turn the ball over and don't throw a lot of INTs.
