@bobbyw1510 everyone just seems to love it, without any issues about how it came to be. (I don't want to use the term "created"). I'm ok with using A.I. to maybe assist in certain things, with full disclosure. And I do appreciate that there is full disclosure here, but it seems the age of the musicians and the band is in danger and nobody cares.

Don't worry. I am a musician too but I intend to keep on playing guitar and writing music apart from making these little songs for fun. Now the challenge is even greater - to be better than the machine. And I know we can be. :)

I listened to a lot of Ai's songs and realized that he is a great teacher, especially when it comes to melody. Therefore, I do not intend to give up so easily.

It's all just for fun. Nothing more. In fact I play in two bands and we've released several albums over the years. Long before there was any sign of AI on the horizon. :) But yes, I totally understand what you are saying.

No, no. We play much heavier stuff than that but I've always loved hair metal.

There will always have place for the good music no matter who made it. Look at AI as just another band. If now suddenly appear 100 metal bands this will not throw out the window the great musicians. Competition will just push people to make better music.

But of course. And the experience in real bands is key too. Paying attention to arrangements, vocal phrasing, gradation, etc... I read somewhere in the comments of your channel that you're a "retired" musician. That pretty much goes for me too even though I might still make some "human" music if I get tired of AI. :)

@@hAIrMETALL-nx4hb Yess! You still need some songwrighting skills to understand what will work for the song and build a solid song structure. I was a singer and a main songwrighter in a band. In severel bends to be prescise. For now I'm tired of playing in small clubs for 20+yeas, but yeah, I also can go back to playing live if I feel like it.

I don't remember what the case was with this song but usually I generate all the music with AI and I generate several versions of the lyrics with Chat GPT from which I take some good ideas and phrases and write the rest, compiling brand new lyrics. It is important to add that I put the music together in a DAW which gives me much more control over what goes where than I have in the Udio platform which generates the 30-second music chunks. In short, the music is 100% AI and the lyrics are about 30 to 50% AI.

Yes. Same here. Expensive, but it otherwise it will be even more expensive if I keep making a song per week and paying $10 every time for mastering.

That's what is so great about music, friend. I hear Erik Gronwall from H.E.A.T. but I've realized since posting this song that it's purely subjective and most people simply hear a favorite singer. As for Steve Lee - oh, how I miss his voice. It's great that he managed to leave an awesome legacy for all of us to enjoy. What a singer... Greetings.
