Most bibles exclude the 2nd part of that verse: not those that walk in the flesh but in the spirit. That there gives that text a whole new meaning. We HAVE TO WALK HOLY!!!
Being a Pakistani Christian I can understand the meaning of condemnation and separation. due to 295 BC Blesphemy law. But what assurance in Christ is greatest reward for Christian believers.No condemnation and no separartion.Praise be to great God who saved a sinner like me through the Cross of Jesus Christ.
My word is this man HB Charles a gift to the church or what? I just watched a sermon he gave at TGC National conference in 2019 and was blown away at the truth of Christ and the glorifying of God preached by him. There were other speakers there like T Keller I know is fully woke not to mention TGC itself now but this man is one powerful expositor of God’s glorious gospel! Romans 7 says we will have a struggle with sin.we all go though it.Every believer!However we can take comfort in Roman 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.Sin and death does not have the victory over us!!The power within has overcome.Thanks be to God!

Thank you for preaching on this. I found it after reading Romans 8 and really feeling frustrated. I struggle with legalism and can't help but wonder, if the proof that we have his spirit in us is through the fruit of obedience, and we can't lay hold of this promise of "no condemnation" unless we know we have His Spirit, then doesn't that put us right back in the same struggle as the law, we have to be obedient in order to know we are saved, and if we are not obedient we doubt that we have his Spirit, putting us back in the spirit of fear instead of Sonship. This has been the last 30 years for me trying to gain assurance but always feeling enslaved to the same sins. Thank you.

One has to wonder why the preacher has left out the second half of Romans 8v1... There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, .... WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT and just on case your version doesn't have it...it repeats the same in v 4... 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, ... *who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.* The law cannot save us...it condemns us. tick.. Christ is the only door...and the path of the cross is narrow.

Sarge, no, you can not out sin the blood of Christ. That does not give you a license to sin, there will be consequences, even early death if a believer continues in sin.
Theres always going to be people who dislike sermons where Jesus is exalted and proclaimed. Some people prefer the sermon to center around them...may the Lord deliver people from such mindsets

SCRIPTURE IS CLEAR THAT TEACHERS WILL FACE A GREATER CONDEMNATION .. SCRIPTURE IS CLEAR THAT MANY ARE BRINGING DAMNATION UPON THEMSELVES FOR NOT DISCERNING THE BODY OF CHRIST .. MANY SAINTS WILL STAND BEFORE THE JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST AND FIND THEIR NAME BLOTTED OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE .. AMEN
Anthony terry, everyone who stands before the judgement seat of Christ will not be blotted out. It's those that go before the great white throne who will be blotted out. You said saint, a saint is a saved person, they will not be condemned if they are saved.

Paul didnt speak to all his audiences the same. Instead of enjoying the teaching you are concerned about how one speaks to different audiences. Could it be because you dont have that ability..🤔 But since your name is the reformed pastor I will leave some scripture to speak to your spirit on ones ability to preach. Obedience cannot be performed without the Spirit of God dwelling in man. Yet... the Scriptures says - being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ... God's work, God's Son, God's Salvation, God's Spirit, God's plan. Man must surrender & come to know that it is He who loves us. In return, we must love His Son for the beautiful work He has done & is still doing. Bless the name of Jesus Christ - forever.

I would agree to the extent that the "will to be obedient" "cannot be performed without the Spirit of YHWH dwelling in man" . IF YHWH commands you to be obedient, then it clearly implies you are capable of doing the obedience. Are you implying that man has no ability to refrain from stealing, adultery, murder? If we are commanded to do/not do something, it implies an ability to perform/not perform as required. I will agree that man alone, a reprobate sinner given over to evil, would not be able to comply. But a man saved by Jesus would be able to comply and would be obedient at a minimum as a thank offering.
@@CatarineausArmory - If a person is not born again / regenerate.... that person will constantly respond to the evil inclination within them due to the absence of God's Spirit refraining that individual from sin. Born again believers --- even though saved & possessing the Spirit of God --- are still living in the old body with the newness of life... therefore believers will still have struggles with sin. Absolute obedience is only in Christ --- even Paul the apostle (yet a great man of God) also struggled with sin. In Romans 7:22-25 - Paul says "For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God-through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. I hope I can edify. No condemnation IN THE TRUE JESUS but the trinitarians believe in a false Jesus who is not the Father in bodily form but a second persons of a trinity of three different persons ??? But Yahweh always been one and never three= Eph.4:4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Pastor's who pick 1 or 2 scriptures out of a chapter is fooling themselves and many others. Each scripture has a specific meaning in each chapter. It's taking out of contexts. All men shall be judged, all me have sinned. Wide is the path, narrow is the gate and only few shall find it and even fewer shall enter the kingdom of heaven. Roman's tells you that you need to know the law, lol Your faith will be tested in the tribulation, much love and God bless you all.

If your thinking your getting raptured before the tribulation, I direct you to Matthew 24;29-31. Not only is the rapture twisted out of shape but the Bible clearly tells you that the DEAD in Christ shall rise 1st.

That is the hope of the gospel! That those who are in Christ Jesus have been freed from the punishment and condemnation we brought upon our own heads by our sin. In Christ’s life, death, and resurrection He made it possible for all who have faith to become children of God, cleansed of their iniquity and then raised to a new life to glorify God for all eternity! It is such a joyous thing that the believer is no longer under condemnation as we once were by the law but are now saved by the grace of God
