I actually contacted them today about a lantern and a table lamp today before I saw this. Great to see a size comparison. I think I found my holiday gift to my collection lol.
I own two firefly lanterns. The only Coleman that approaches the light output is the 639. The firefly is heirloom quality and makes Coleman lanterns look like toys. I run the fireflys at 45 to 50 psi. 3 atmospheres are enough. Very high price but worth it. Puts out enormous heat too!
Great looking lantern this and maybe a brytlite are on my list. This one I really like as to the no b.s. marketing like the other brand. Thanks for the video.take care.
Really cool video. I am looking at the HC lanterns and I a so glad you are putting some info about them onto YT. The big thing I am looking for is a mantle lantern that will run on alcohol. I get terrible headaches when I am in a room with a kerosene or propane mantle lantern, and I am confident that if I can find a lantern that runs on alcohol, that I will be fine with that. I can find historical examples of alcohol mantle lanterns, but nothing in current production. Do you have any suggestions or knowledge about a current production lantern that can run on alcohol?
