He is pacifying you Ugandans. Try that speech in Kenya. The Kenyans willl chase you away. It’s why they are getting results and Uganda is not. All the opposition in Uganda FDC, NUP, SP are there to pacify Ugandans against wanting change m. It’s an oxymoron which can be confusing and hard to eh most to grasp. He’s basically saying just remain on social media mubalabise but don’t get mad or angry as to march down to parliament and uproot the evil that’s happening there. He’s making Ugandans remain docile while trying to look like he is ants you to remain keyboard warriors.

He could still talk about Museveni and also tell us his vision for Uganda and NUP’s ideology. But he just chooses to sing remove dictator non stop. Since when has that removed Museveni? Besigye tried it too. As they say if you want new results, you have to try a different recipe. I want to support him but I have failed to understand where he’s taking Uganda. And there are many others like me. His party is being torn to shreds due to a lack of discipline and grass roots politics. It’s like they rushed their party and picked every one who pays the most money to join. There’s no loyalty, no real purpose to change the country’s trajectory to a more developed economic model and strengthen its democracy. As much as I love the man, as a singer, when it comes to politics, I’ve found myself muting him and his party. At this point they are not any different to FDC, DP or NRM. They’re all politicians seeking to be elected to parliament under the guise of ‘remove the dictator m7’. No substance about which policies will help Uganda. Tulabye ennaku mu uganda. Look at Kenya and see how hard they work on policy, they’re moving away from presidential personality and tribal leaning, they want to sweep the incompetent in parliament.

My critique is for all those parties you’re mentioning. They can do better than shout remove the dictator slogans. Not enough action in parliament to discuss policy but all they do is come on podiums and scream remove the dictator. The real action is parliament. Why are these parties so coward like in parliament and outside they make the noise? Real political change happens in parliament. And also drives at grassroots civic change through villages and cities. This tactics nup is doing besigye also did and is continuing to do with new parties mushrooming every new election. Not enough unity amongst the so called opposition parties and lack of focus is unfortunately a recipe for disaster if they really want the change they keep screaming about. They need to do things differently. That’s my opinion, I respect what you say, but politicians are public people and need to open themselves up to scrutiny. Not just be praised 24 7. Us and our children are the ones to suffer if you bring in average and incompetent leaders. I remove emotions from criticism, I try to face the facts. More Ugandans should do the same

We all know that. But the way kyagulannyi is doing his politics is not helping. If you listen well, he is all talk and no action . Come up with solutions, don’t just offer talk. What he is saying besigye has said for decades, it is nothing new. What is the new thing that they can offer that is really going to bring change? Otherwise he’ll wind up like besigye, wait for 2026 and so on. Tetulina gye tulaga, nga tetutadewo a mannyi. Simple example after election the same bobi removed the petition against the electoral commission and case was withdrawn from court. Such actions will get nup nowhere. Now they’ll go back to elections, lose and then cry foul. They’ll repeat the same script. Why can’t you see it? Ugandans babazannyidde ku mitwe naye mulwawo Okitegera politics. Kiki?!!!
