+LeoMRogers That's presuming these are allowed to continue being posted to RU-vid. According to the new rules Grey talks of all in-content ads have to be no more than 30 seconds at the end with a still image. These videos include three ad breaks in the middle and the images keep moving. I'm fine with that, but if RU-vid really does start enforcing the baked-in ad rules this series will be an early victim.

UnitedJupiter www.hellointernet.fm Also on itunes, i think. The youtube schedule is currently a few months behind, but they are being uploaded faster here than new ones are being recorded.

TPRJones That's true, and maybe Grey will just upload an edit without the ads (or perhaps, with the ads at the end), or maybe the podcast will leave youtube. At this rate, I think the youtube schedule will catch up before this happens. Maybe this is one of the motivations to get the youtube uploads up to date, so if they have to announce the end of the youtube channel, they can do it on the podcast and the youtube channel at the same time.

The thing about RU-vid Red and the lack of communication with independent creators is that RU-vid isn't particularly interested in those creators. RU-vid is primarily interested in chasing the corporate music and movie dollars. I'm certain all the details of RU-vid Red were communicated to those corporations well in advance. If the independent creators make more money with Red that will be a pleasant side effect rather than a goal of the process. This is also why the copyrights claim system isn't going to get better anytime soon. The system is set up to favor those corporations that they are interested in working closely with, and they aren't going to upset that apple cart by changing the system to be more fair to independent content creators.

I dont like that that deck has blue backs for black suite cards and red backs for red suite card. Im almost 100% sure theres at least one pretty common card game that uses suites, making that deck impossible to use Also, whos gonna pick up all those cards?

***** Corruption is not fun. I feel like there should be more money spent by hard drive manufacturers for research on better early warnings for this sort of thing. Maybe disable the ability to write to your drive when it reaches a certain state (that can be bypassed is needed)
