Hello Gemma, I followed you a couple of years ago but then stopped. Today I returned to watch this video and I have to admit: you look fabulous. Don´t know what happened. You look 10 years younger. This lady (sorry I don't know her name) is BRILLIANT because her classic but stylish choices are genuinely age appropriate for everyone. Three generations in our family, follow her just occasionally switching out heel heights or bag size to accommodate our different lifestyles. She NEVER looks cheap even when her clothes are. Cannot thank her enough.

Sage green is my favorite color, but I'm a fair-skinned blonde so I don't wear it next to my face. Today I am wearing thrifted sage green linen shorts, a thrifted white T, a white gauze overshirt, and a turquoise pendant. It gives the same vibe you're showing. 😊

The blue stripe shirts are sharp looking, but they're all polyester which is unbelievably hot in warm weather. I wish they were a cotton poly blend! I do love the red/ cream floral dress with the puff sleeves. And your creative red "belt"! 😅

You are so right! It's not only that polyester is very unpleasant to wear, it is also very harmful to the environment - not only its production, but also that it is virtually non-degradable. H&M tops it all with its greenwashing: using recycled polyester, adding another chemical process to the "original sin", We consumers should boycott those non-sustainable fabrics - we own it to our planet and our offspring. Sorry for preaching, but this is a really important issue.

I saw the light green kakhi shirt and also fell in love with it. I definitely didn't need more button downs in my closet but this color was surprisingly lovely. With tan accessories and black or white trousers, it's gorgeous. Love the colors, very classy and chic. Never would have thought of this. Thanks Gemma!

I’m with you on this one: I like a little ease in my clothes, but no huge, oversized clothes! (I’m short, too, so it’s even more important for me). As for H&M, they have great styles and prices, but their fabrics aren’t very good. Their linen is probably the best they offer in the regular range, but their woven cottons are thin and cheap, don’t wash well and are impossible to iron well, and I’m an expert. I like that khaki green, too, it’s an important neutral in my wardrobe. What a difference your good ironing made for that khaki green dress! It’s one of my tricks to make inexpensive clothes look better-quality: careful ironing, with sizing spray after washing (I like Magic Sizing spray). Almost all new clothes are sized, that’s what gives them that nice crisp finish, but it can easily be replicated after laundering with spray sizing. Thank you, you have the expert eye to pick out the best items, I’m headed for your links!❤❤❤PS Your’e definitely an XS-S, dear Gemma, it takes a while to adjust your mind and eye to a new size after weight loss, I know. I keep ordering things too big myself after losing weight (from a US size 16 to a 6).🙂

Really lovely selection! The puff sleeve dress suits you so well! I haven't been in shops in ages, I blame it on Covid because ever since then I got so used to shopping online. But I think I need see H&M's collections in real life at some point, hopefully soon before everything sells. They've released such beautiful pieces for Spring and Summer. The pieces with the different shades of green were my favourite. I'm a bit obsessed with the colour at the moment, especially with the light shades of green, and have enjoyed finding new staples to add to my wardrobe. Such a beautiful colour and so versatile. You look terrific in all of the shorts. I liked the tan ones the best. I am not thrilled to wear shorts at my age (67), but we have very hot temperatures here in Phoenix, Arizona in the summer. I try to wear linen as much as possible. It keeps me cooler.

Good morning Gemma, you’re looking amazing in everything! And of course summer clothes are really all about what you want to highlight. This year I’m doing the maxi dress in linen with pockets😂. Keeps my legs warm from the air conditioning at work. H&M in Canada have really gone downhill. Everything is in a great big jumble and sizing is all over the place. Hi Sharon! H&M is really hit and miss, such a shame. Something I've realised is I miss visiting and looking around the shops, it's something I used to enjoy doing and slowly they're all disappearing, is it the same in Canada? H&M is one of the few that's still on the high street, maybe that's why they're so sloppy and don't bother displaying things properly.

Yes Gemma, enjoying a day out in the shops,seems to be an entertainment of the past. We lost Nordstroms in Canada and even Escada. Ralph Lauren lost its license in Canada about 10 years ago and is slowly coming back. I still miss Marks and Spencer’s . We can shop online,but the difference in currency makes each item much more expensive. Looking forward to your next video! All the very best to you ❤️❤️

Mh, I don't understand why so many people are asking for her weight-loss or her maybe facelift? Gemma has always been slim with a good figure ( and fabulous legs- by the way). And she definitely doesn't have to take a facelift!! She is looking good,yes😊 But she is also looking " normal" - not like someone who has done something to his face. Maybe she is eating the right things, maybe she is doing sports, maybe she is happy in her private life, maybe she has a healthy lifestyle. A lot of things, that everybody can do too. I don't understand these assumptions......

I agree with the previous comment about how wrinkled the clothes were in the store. I worked in the fashion industry and I know that it takes time and staff to steam the garments, but at least the front of the pieces should have been steamed. Especially at the front of the store the items need to invite you to come in and explore. Unfortunately the image that you get is of a second hand store. H&M needs to improve as they have so much competition from other stores.

Sure! The shoes I had on were from Burudani now called Dream Pairs. They’re called the elegant knitted cap toe flats, they’re still available. They’re very very comfortable, i also put them in the washing machine too 😊

Spaghetti straps and elasticated rushed tops are a disaster if you have a large chest. I love linen and cotton mixes but not manmade fabrics for summer. The blues and whites look soooo good.

Used to love H&M, now it’s all 100% polyester, the stuff looks like it’s been worn for years already, at least here in Germany. Haven’t set my foot in a store for a few years

I don't think so. During the previous years yes, the had many man made fabrics but this season have brought plenty of cotton, linen , lyocell

Dear Gemma, I like your style and your videos about styling, color combinations very much. But please consider that Zara an H&M are part of fast fashion. A lot of people buy someting and wear their clothes only 3-5 times and than throw them away. The huge amount of clothing waste ends up in Chile, in the Atacama desert and in Africa. To avoid further problems in the world, it would be better if everyone appreciated the clothes they already have and bought as few new ones as possible. One way is to find out how many different ways you can wear your clothes. Your style videos are very helpful in this regard. Although every woman would like to look modern and chick, we should be interested in saving our planet. Warm regards ❤

It’s a lovely print dress that would be perfect for a casual summertime wedding or garden party. I don’t understand why the white background would be a problem tho. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I like the way you present BUT...I really dislike H&M. I am not loaded so I shop carefully and on viewing this video, I went into H&M to see what they were about. As far as I could see it was a cavern of knock offs all made in places where cheap labour reigns. Sizes were irregular and I dislike the gappy sleeves on shirts that I first liked the look of. It worries me! This is all headed for landfill!!!! PLEASE consider this when you do future blogs. I prefer your presentation to heaps of others I've viewed. Cheers.xx

Love the content but the music is hugely annoying and distracting. What is it supposed to add? We come here to listen to your opinion/advice. It is just noise pollution. Please reconsider.

Point taken. Editing is insanely boring adding some music just makes it feel more exciting for me I guess but I understand how it can be distracting as a viewer 👍🏻

I usually hate music as background but the level here was perfect. I have discovered that changing my tv settings for sound is helping to turn down loud music so maybe that’s helpful for this lady?
