The guy voice you were going crazy over is none other than the late great Keven “Dino” Connor he’s the one with the prayer hands on the video (One of the best voices in 90’s R&B.) His twin brother Shazam (he was the one hitting the high notes) is the other lighter skinned guy in the group. H-Town was a very underrated group they were on the Jodeci tip & they were teenagers when this song came out. They have other hits like “Part Time Lover”, “Lick U Up”, “Emotions”, “A Thin Line Between Love & Hate”, “They Like It Slow.” Unfortunately Dino is no longer here he died in an accident with his pregnant girlfriend in early 2003 when H-Town was about to record another album R.I.P.

H-Town was a great group of the 90's & yes Zapp/Roger Troutman mess with this group. In the 90's Roger was the most wanted music producer cause of his hits. Also hip hop wanted to sample his music & they did. Anyway H-Town worked with Roger on the same tidal of the movie called A thin line between love & hate. Both were a big hit. Roger wrote the hole music score of the movie the sad thing was, this was the last music we would hear from him. Roger pasted in a way like Marvin Gay murdered by a family member. R.I.P. Another soundtrack hit from a movie H.Town had was the movie Above the Rim the song was called Part time lover. 90's had more great guy groups like H-Town like: Guy, Today, Troop, Public Announcement, Surface, Tony Toni Tone. There were more Here's a taste but you'll have to put in work enjoy the music.
