Just bought my 2003 hummer H2 and now is ready to go for fun on the snow best car so far I own and I have own like 50 car during my short life (40) and this tank is the best beast outside
ilham Defra - I never said my H2 has the best off road capabilities. I said, it's the "best vehicle" I have ever owned meaning dependable and safe for my family. So, for me...those things make it the best vehicle I have ever owned. I already know and have always been aware that the H1 is best for off road.
+Job Done Right - Nice! Trust me...I prefer the H1 but the H2 was in my price range and it's not that bad. It's capabilities are decent but nothing compared to the H1. The H3 is the bitch Hummer.
For those who criticize Hummers : I can guarantee one thing, those who talk negative about Hummers doesn’t know anything about Hummers and probably drive a tiny car or a scooter. Hummer H1 was the strongest standard production SUV ever made it didn’t even had any competitors it was manufactured by the same A.M General Company that produced the Military HUMVEE. Majority of Hummer H1 was powered by 6.2 Liter 190bhp & 6.6 Liter 300bhp Diesel Engines. If there was a weakness in the Hummer H1 it was the damage it causes the smaller vehicles on road, because of its Military grade chassis and body panels. Hummer H1 was made for an exclusive group of people that’s the reason it was priced at $150,000 Dollars. The Hummer H2 was also build by A.M General Corporation in collaboration with General Motors, it also had strong chassis and a body second only to the H1 Hummer. H2 front portion was build with pedestrian safety and smaller vehicle safety in mind (Crumple Zones) that’s why some people (Stupid) say it’s soft, make no mistake Hummer H2 was a Strong Powerful vehicle powered by 6.0 Liter 323bhp & 6.2 Liter 393bhp V8 Gasoline Engines. When fixed with a reinforced bulbar H2 is strong as any H1. H2 used some of the components from the GMC Sierra HD3500 to make the production costs lower, make no mistake that H2s sister truck The GMC Sierra HD3500 was the toughest truck of its class. H2 used a heavily modified HD3500 Chassis with multiple reinforcements and boxed sections making it the strongest SUV of its kind. With a Price Tag of $75000 it was also made for special group of people. Hummer H3 was made as the smallest and the final Hummer Model, some stupid people try to compare it with H1 and say it’s not a Hummer, well it is a Hummer in all measurable means, arguably the most versatile Hummer Ever. Some of that is wrong but most of it is right the hmmwvs were unreliable heavy and underpowered but badass offroad due to the special axles and hubs h1s don't have that suspension or drive system h1s were big beasts but the 6.2 and 6.5s weren't very good they could be reliable but are tremendously underpowered they werent luxurious really they were a pain in the ass to drive because of how wide they are the h2s are fairly luxurious and reliable they weigh an absurd amount the 6.0 was underpowered when in such a heavy vehicle and the 6.2 only took the 0-60 down by 1 second making it a 9 second vehicle that being said it had a rear locker which is good the chassis was never based on a gm3500hd so thats wrong the rear was manufactured from a 1500 series the front was from a 2500 series the transmission was a slightly beefed up 4l60 (4l65) then when they switched to the 6.2 v8 they swapped trans to the 2500hds 6l80 trans that being said it still was awful to drive slow terrible mileage and god awful blind spots the h3 is by far the best off road its smaller lightweight and came with front and rear lockers it could be powered by an inline 5 or a 5.3 v8 from the 1500s of the early 2000's still had awful blind spots by far the best hummer available was the last year of h1 which was called the alpha they placed a gm 6.6 duramax and allison trans in them that being said i love all hummer models no matter how tremendously stupid they are
After buying brand new my H2 SUT and driving it for 12 years, I've learned one thing from people who drive other vehicles: they'd wish they had a Hummer!
Its so interesting to read all the comments on videos like this, the internet genius that takes time to comment incorrectly is a great read! The H2 does have a locking rear diff, it uses a modified 2500 HD Frame, yes so does a Suburban. It has all the safety and alot of the off road capabilities of the H1 with alot better road manners. Ive owned and driven them all. My buddys H1 with 38 TSL swampers otherwise stock, got stuck everywhere we went, as it was so heavy and under powered. He owned a diesel and gas version of the same truck. I could run circles around that thing in a 95 Extended cab Yota with a body lift and 33in General Mud Terrains. My H2 is very capable, a heavy "loopy" vehicle, its quiet on the road, nice to drive, reliable with close to 200K miles and no issues, never has left me stranded. Yet I can follow people anywhere off road they want to go, so long as the trail isn't real narrow! The only complaint is gas mileage and towing capacity. The only complaint is gas mileage with the thing. Ive owned two full width trail rig Wrangler's with GM v8's and Ford 1 Ton Running Gear. Besides being locked up all the time and not able to drive on the highway because of gears, Theyre the only thing that could out do these H2's offroad. The Hummer lineup, may not be everything offroad, but theyre the most capable factory off road vehicles around. Land rovers are nice, but 20's and street tires kill theyre offroad ability. Credit where Credit is due people.
Bought a Hummer in 2005. $55,000.00 Still drive it today in 2020. I've only had to put tires and brakes on it. Only five batteries. Most trouble free vehicle i have ever owned. Still looks new and turns heads. When it snows. I'm the only one that makes it to work. But i have never miss treated it and i park it indoors when not in use.
@Brian Davis, I think that typically people tend to not make fun of the car itself and instead they tend to make fun of those who drive hummers because they rarely unlock their full potential, which makes them look like dumbasses.. Hummers are beasts, lots of respect
great to see 3/4 ton suburbans off the pavement. Of all choices, If you cant afford the H1, buy an H3, at least they have a 4:1 transfer case with a rear locker. so then maybe they would keep pace with a jeep for once. Still have to enjoy the fact that these owners aren't afraid to have fun, and are not worried about their chrome. I'll talk smack everyday, because i've been involved for mere 20 years, but i have to show love where love is due. if youre off the pavement, then youre part of my brotherhood, and i have your back. have fun out there and be safe.

I would seriously like to know, also...it's obviously the sun, but what's with the purple and the solar flares coming off to the right?. Is it, perhaps, the cameras method of blocking direct light sources for photo quality? I'm not that familiar, just a guess...
There's enough fuel in the world to run an entire club? Where are you based, the UAE? And actual oil well? Also, most of those are Jeeps, which aren't much better.

not one thing you did impressed me, get a real SUV.. your H2 is on a Tahoe chasis yet is charged a premium for nothing. Its a GM piece of shit, get a JEEP!! My Commander HEMI with QDII will do everything you did and more
