another day another pointless drag race between two motorcycles that are limited in performance solely by the need to not flip over for the entirety of the used track and therefore accelerate almost identically fast
The Ducati is hard to get off the line because of the tall first gear, so the rider needs to work the clutch a lot. It it a bike designed for a racecourse not a dragstrip. So without any modifications (like stretching and gearing changes) it will be terrible.
Supercharger in street version of H2 is just an ornament, in fact the Panigale V4 has more HP and way less weight that the H2, in this case was matter of skills...
Mr boss without question, but this isn’t a fair representation of a panigale vs a h2. Duc rider really bogged it down. Not criticising though, that shit would be tough.
The weather wasn't great, the pavement looked sort of wet. Not saying they launched it perfectly, but everyone always likes to say how they did better on an inferior bike, without ever taking into account the conditions. A bright hot mid afternoon sun burning bright up in the sky, nice soft grippy tyres, minor mods like gearing and suspension set up and you could easily shave 1s of the quarter mile time in any bike, regardless of the rider.
@@maulikcr9the H2 series is a vanity project, it's not a repliracer. It will turn somewhat, but It's really only good for doing hyperspeed pulls on some lonely highway in UAE, Africa or Nevada. On the curves a good rider on a cbr 250 will give this beast a run for its money
The least boring part of a baseball game are when the pitcher and the batter size each other up. Everything after that is either predictable or blind fuckin luck.
That's usual stuff, ever seen a superduke wheelie past you at 240kph? On track? I did on my race prepped R1.lol You can make your bike as fast as the h2r , my r1 was almost there , with flash, full system, weight sheddings, bigger cams, 5- at tye rear it was at 220hp at the wheel , so i had clocked a top speed of 240-50mph ( around 350-70 kph ?).. Around the 400 mark , but not over there, after all not many tracks that allow 400 kph lol, kawi HQ must be ridiculous to make one of these , very fun awesome machines ! Beast of a bike....
@@p.chakraborty4453 bro I don't know much about bikes but if u made ur r1 like this can we upgrade h2 also like this??if yes then how much we can pull on it?
What I was thinking. Dude got a horrible start regardless of whether the Duc could have beaten the Kaw anyway. And now we gotta try to live that video down. Thanks Bro!
Want to know which motorcycle is the best in the quarter mile? First, find 2 professional riders; next run six quarter mile races. After 3 runs, the riders switch bikes - then 3 more races. The results still wouldn’t be definitive, but probably reasonably accurate.
Duke looks pretty much stock to me with standard pipes and all. H2 on the otherhand has had a bit of work done. No cat converter, straight pipes and etc. Be interesting to see how they both went stock.
Almost everybody hates the driver of ducati its a no no no..have you all drive both bikes ? I own a ducati monster but i tell you h2 is not a ordinary bike
i like how youre saving face for the dude but he messed it up and you can tell by his head movement at the start when he couldnt even get his foot on the peg.
@@super13218 I'm probably putting myself in his shoes given that I've never launched my various sport bikes at an actual drag strip and probably would embarrass myself far worse than the Panigale rider !
~He's An IDIOT, ....When You Try To Bring Your Bike To Peak --^ To Be Ready To Jump, And You Have A OEM REV. LIM. Installed The Bike Is Gonna Rev UP,................ And Then,... And He'll Go Home, An Never Figure It Out, ....It Has A 205mph Top Speed Out The CRATE, And A QUARTER Mile, BETTER Than What He Did, (It's A Factory 10sec. Bike @158mph.. I absolutely agree, the launch control is what he should have used. I don't think you can better it manually. Although the H2 has more power, the Ducati is lighter. ✌️👌👍
I own a Panigale V4 and have to speak up for the Ducati rider here, they have a really horrible grabby clutch and are very difficult to get a decent launch on, on my previous bikes getting a good launch was much easier, other than launches and the amount of heat it kicks out, it really is a great bike though.
U fucking asshole 23 model v4 even without supercharger stock with right rider will give h2 run for it life as u see 25k v4 vs 45 k h2 even late start did great u put full exhaust mr 12 we taking ducati 240 at crank .will put h2 to sleep 😅😅
Motorcycle culture is something that riders enjoy no matter how different they are in terms of religion, gender, language, race, or skin color. Motorcycles are fun and it’s a fact. I found some good motorcyclist quotes and felt like sharing with you all.
no, the kawa is a heavy, ugly thing with a supercharger that can go fast in a straight line but nothing more. panigale is ultimate engineering, there are worlds between how the panigale handles vs the big fucker kawasaki. h2 is just a poser bike. laughable
@@South4153 Not really. The cornering of the H2 is still pretty nimble. In an actual race, they'd be close due to Ducati high speed acceleration. They actually have similar abilities. I love the H2. But even I know not to fanboy over different concepts.
KrazyKiwi it just isn‘t. pick any track and the kawa will be absolutely destroyed. it‘s not made for cornering, it‘s made for going fast in a straight line and looking „cool“.
@@tonymassie2167 as far as i remember, it was mostly stock. they got it extremely used for like three grand (plus some basic repairs). it's a very enjoyable video (as all videos are from Zack and Ari) and they go into great detail about their methodology... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q0O8Q0x38mI.html
And where do you suggest they practice - apart from on the drag strip? Launching a bike with so much power is a fine art which takes lots of practice and not something that you can do on the road.
It's not like the h2 is the fastest straight line production bike or anything. Both riders has bad performance. World record on the h2 at 1/4 mile is 8.2s and this guy did nearly 11s Panigale's v4 the best times is around 9.8s 9.6s.
Bone stock v4 should beat a H2 in a drag race in paper. But H2 can be easily modified to create a lot more power than the v4 can. Either way they're both more than I can probably handle.
@@iamthemobey Not really. H2 has much taller gears and way higher toque it'll beat v4 down low and in the top end as well. I done this race many time with my friend and his v4. H2 always win even when we switch the bikes both bone stock.
@@awokawokawok6885 No, sir! I only occasionally comment on the internet, that too only on motorcycle & car videos. And I rarely enter into in a debate.
In drag race v4 doesn't stand a chance with the h2... the way that h2 body is designed is for straight line acceleration...but some Ducati fan boy will comment that v4 rider is not good...........bro it's his job to accelerate the bike as fast as possible ...this riders are way better than all of us who are commenting down in this vedio
Ecu flashed h2 with a pipe and performance air filter produces 250HP at the rear wheel. With few changes to supercharger gearings the h2 can put 276HP at the ground which is basically h2r. My friend's v4s with full akro system and ecu flash with a tune produces 204HP at the rear. The power gap is huge between these bikes even with 30 kilos difference h2 got much higher power to weight ratio.
I thought the Ducati would win easily in a drag race considering how how hard it is to lauch a h2 while keeping it in the ground such a beautiful machine
Damn i guess he had to really ease into throttle there as it was slow reaction time it seemed as they both left line ...odd I never seen a race like it before...anyone got a idea as to why this race went as it had from starting line...I saw the H2 wanting to lift on rider with 144 speed 10.40 ish to a 142 11. 20 ish or whatever they both had that race should have taken place on air strip in my opinion...
Here I am excited to see this race until this clown leaves his visor opened.. it was that exact moment I knew I should look away. Anyways.. I still love my panigale!!
Yes, you are correct. Buying a set of Alpinestars leathers and owning a Ducati does not make one a rider by no means. Even my 1098 would've smoked that H2.
