Could you make a guide on how to set up a server with a Virtual private server so you don’t host on your own network?

@@RelinquishedGamingX it would be pretty much the same you’d just use the ip of the vps, but you need to allow traffic through the port / firewall of the vps, I don’t own one so I can’t really show you how

@@RelinquishedGamingX I will do this but you need a VPS windows server. This won’t work on Linux. They ain’t cheap either, you’ll need a VPs will 4-8gb ram ideally 8gb You’ll need a VPs with at least 150-200gb storage. Most VPS has 1Gig bandwith allocation. In the uk that’s £20-30 a month 😭

When I try to go to the web front, it doesnt load in. But I did enable it and did everything correctly on setup

Do you know why I can’t see internet based servers now? Only public? I used to and my sever was listed in internet filter now it’s not and I don’t see any others there either.

do you mean the in game server list like favourites? try filter by favourites button and they may reappear. if not i know of an update file for in game lists you can always find lobbies here too master.iw4.zip/servers

@@BlazedAFGaming yea so there’s favorites and internet to filter. I was able to get both, now nothing appears in the internet filter and that’s where my serve and other servers were found.

@@OGBestDadJokes oh I get ya, I’d assume the host site is down for the internet ones then. Unsure as I haven’t had my filter on that one. Nor used in game server since yesterday, I’ll take a Quick Look my end see if it’s the same. If not I’ll ask a few people in the morning as it’s 1am here.

I just checked mine and it shows both.. but very similar lists and amount of servers and players on both. 105 servers and 400 players

Go into a game, if you haven’t claimed ownership of your server yet Press T for game chat, Type !owner If you’ve already done that you need to do to commands in the chat First !who that will give client ID it’s the number next to the @ in brackets Then the next commands is !rt that will give a password token.
