You know what's weird, Cleo was the one in the beginning who didn't want to swim at all and now she's the one who is taking the 'total lockdown' the hardest
since she never gave the water a chance when she was afraid of it (and couldn't swim) she became comfortable with it when she realized that it won't hurt her. It's like, getting a crush on something new. Emma and Rikki were the ones to explore the mermaid powers first and Cleo kinda missed that since she refused to touch water at all lmao
I've always wondered why doesn't Emma tell Elliot about their secret? He seems like a good kid, and definitely seems to love his sister. I wish the show could've taken this route, and express how strong their sibling relationship is (as she claims multiple times). It also would have been humorous and touching to see a kid doing everything in his power to protect his sister's secret.
They look like its just between them 3 bcz look into it the old woman who tell them everything she was a mermaid in the 50s and it was just between she and her 2 friends nobody else new about their secret and if it was others it would be the same so think......
@@madisongaither1261 yes but they all have great parents. They wouldn't let anything happen to them. My only doubt is Kim but they should've told their parents.
If her parents would see that she's suffering her “mermaidness”, then they could call a doctor or something and would overprotect her. She gave up swimming because of her new powers and tail - that's what her parents would think and it definitely would not made any good. So these are my thoughts and I don't see what's so wrong about Cleo, Emma and Rikki hiding their new power from parents.
@@Mxh_008 In this episode they had a waterfowl date, and after the water procedures, there was something else, they even tried to kiss. By the way, in the cave, our loving couple cooed silently, but it was clear that looks and gestures speak better than words
@@Gadgirlgamer In the final episode of season 2, before they kissed (however, Emma and Rikki seemed to deliberately interrupt them, but then they still made up for lost time and kissed) they glowed for obvious reasons, but they did not coo silently. After the trio left, Lewis made a victorious gesture, because he received another portion of happiness - he kissed his beloved, held hands with her, so his soul rejoices with joy
I love the beauty of Australia! It’s so relaxing to watch these series when you are an adult. It kinda reminds me of times that were simpler and sunnier.
Families aren’t that nice in real life. If I said I wasn’t gonna go to a family vacation than my parents would be like “your going!” And I wouldn’t have a choice.
Never understood why the girls couldn't tell their parents- like how little faith you have to the people who raised you... also they care so much about their secret so why do they talk about it in a public place? Eliot is a sweetheart
Hate to burst your bubble but people get persecuted, sent to be 'fixed', thrown out of their homes, tortured, starved, abused, raped all for say loving the same gender as yourself or for your gender not aligning with what you were assigned as from birth, oh but wait noooo they won't freak because of some magic that turns their kids into fish
@@spectatormode2580 while that is true, Emma and Cleo's parents don't seem like hateful ones. They seem very accepting no matter how their kids turn out to be
@@Ihatelifeswear In this episode they had a waterfowl date, and after the water procedures, there was something else, they even tried to kiss. However in episode 26 of season 2, they didn’t have silent cooing, but Emma and Rikki seemed to deliberately interrupt their attempt to kiss, telling them "Do you have to do this in public?". I was silently dumbfounded by Lewis’s answer, I even thought, “If he said that, then he has nothing to be ashamed of”. But, in fairness, Lewis and Cleo made up for lost time, waiting for Emma and Rikki to turn away, they kiss. For preliminary investigation like "what is it" you can touch it. Science doesn't just happen with one sample and one test. Especially that big of a sample with that tough of an outter layer it is fine. Especially because she only touched it on the bottom, any scientist collecting anything from the outside world has to consider something else including that humans touched it. Geeze skins cells don't just flake off and stick to things and overwhelm them like a bad CSI episode.

Cleo and Lewis *Cute couple* Emma and Byron *Water couple* means (They both like to swim and compete in swimming race , back then) Riki and Zane *pretty and cute rough couple* means (They both like to know what's really going on , and desperate to find out things that people can't believe its true) *LIKE IF U AGREE*
Yeah showing that picture to Zane will definitely bring up some things. To suddenly find out that your dating a mermaid, while you are also looking for mermaids, kinda weird isn't it?
I love how despite Zane’s terrible personality he does anything he can to please Rikki, one problem tho is that despite telling him a billion times to stop with the ‘mermaids’ he still does not give up😔 I hope that when he finds out who the mermaids are that he won’t do anything stupid.
LpsGalaxyLover hmm I like all of them. I like rikkis sassness and I like her because shes funny. I like cleo because she is sweet and so nice and just a lovable character and then I like emma because she smart and logical and always keeps them together. I think rikki is my favorite tho
I was watching this series since high school. Now I want a new one with the same cast... I don't care if they are old... Petition for season 4..... And i want a good ending 😍😊
"What about the water polo tournament? We win every year as a family!" Yep and you'll really win when Emma turns into a mermaid and scares the other teams straight out of the pool XD
I love how Dr. Denman says mermaids dont exist like she dont beileve them like this is so annoying. But as soon as she realize mermaids do exist she trys to experiment on the poor girls
if it's so hard for them to hide the secret from their friends, how the hell do they hide it from their family? and why would they put friends/boyfriends above family anyway?
well, as a teenager, i know why lol. friends and boyfriends are our same age, it s easier for us to trust them more than our parents who are adults and some of them don’t even remember what it s like being a teenager. but mostly it s because we feel like we can talk to ppl who are the same age as us cause they relate more to the problem
I think Emma should’ve told her parents. They would’ve found out anyway at some point considering that their entire lives revolve around water. Also I think they would be ok with it.
