I have a MK 4 Caddy 2016 and can confirm mine takes H4s with high and low beam. I bought some Philips LED Ultinon Pro 3021 600k bulds and they work great. Nice and white. Only down side is they throw up a light warning message on the dash which I will need to find a way to code out (maybe using an OBD reader) Also they have DRL lights which I replaced with some W21W LED blubs from OSRAM. 👍
Hey Mike I’ve heard them bulbs are good 👍 yes you can code out bulb warning lights, there’s a few caddy pages on Facebook and people have mentioned doing it. Thanks for confirming about the mk4 bulbs as I was unsure 👍
@madmike2470 Is yours a single bulb for high and low beam madmike ? I have a MK4 caddy with separate bulbs from factory as it's a black edition. There is also an also hid option I'm not sure you could ever say what bulb fits what vehicle
Hey bud yes they do spread it well, I don’t want to be that guy that blinds everyone so I’m going to do a drive by test in another vehicle to see how others see them, I do have them set to the lowest position to stop glaring people.
I got a set of duel High/low LEDs. I just gotta run the high beam wire over and ground it at the same spot as the duel LEDs, where low beam used to sit. Easy to do. If I want I could put a led in high beam spot and double the wires over.
See i replaced bulbs in my T5.1 with LED bulbs and i think there is something funky going on with dip and high beam - need to go check the H - type bulb on it, Thanks Nathan

Are you planning to do something like this with the Transporter maybe some H4 led projector lamps only asking because I'm thinking about doing this myself. What's your thinking about fitting projectors v standard led H4 lamps.

Hi.. I've got a mk4 caddy really want to swap to LED headlights.. mine are H4.. I'm about to buy osram led upgrade but need to use resister to stop the system thinking the bulb is out.. do those headlights you've just shown have resister built in??
Hey bud sorry for delay so they do have a built in resistor but they do different types so maybe email them first and ask for specific one for you vehicle 👍

Hey bud led’s are definitely a decent upgrade but the cheap ones on eBay are like a minefield and mostly crap, I’ve heard the transporter HQ ones are good to 👍
@@YTDTETV T HQ LEDs have been in for over a year now and not a minute’s bother. The lamp units themselves have made a huge difference and they are projector lens too.
@@YTDTETV Ya I did my van spot light headlights and daytime running lights. As I found headlights very poor, but a pain to remove them each year before getting it tested. Just can’t find error free for registration. And I’ve never have been on facebook in my life 😂 I just have never done social media . WhatsApp is the most I do 😀.
@@midnightrider6985 hey bud sorry for the delay, yes I didn’t mention in my video about needing normal bulbs for mot I completely forgot, I’ll take it down and get my mot man to see how good the pattern is. The latest number plate bulbs I got turned the warning light on, if you know someone decent with a computer you can turn the bulb warning light out for individual bulbs. A friend of mine has never done Facebook or anything and to be honest you ain’t missing nothing 😂
Hey Matt so I can confirm my caddy doesn’t have a bulb warning light from them, there is different types of canbus for vehicles so if your unsure you can email auxbeam and they will point you to the correct ones for your vehicle 👍

A nice upgrade.i hope it still gets an mot pass.cops would be another concern.it might be a better bulb for plastic headlights as they do not heat up like the old halogens
Hey bud so your spot on the money with regards to mot etc as the cheaper ones don’t have a very good beam pattern but these come out with what I can tell a perfect one, maybe I’ll ask my mot man if he can put it on his machine and test them in another video. Oh and your right about older powerful bulbs as my brothers headlights melted with upgraded bulbs a few years back.
Love your channel, BUT Nathan, if you use led bulbs or xenon bulbs in NON PROJECTOR headlights, your going to dazzle oncoming traffic ! These bulbs are NOT. Designed to work in standard headlights.

@@YTDTETV exactly what he says the 2ltr is a soft motor. He has a Transporter 19TDI turned into a camper for his wife and him it's nearly 370,000 miles on it
