After so many negative images of Haiti, this video makes me want to weep. What a beautiful country, what a beautiful song...and I don't even understand Creole.
c'est vraiment de la nostalgie. Si seulement tous les haitiens peuvent unir pour fixer notre problemes mais malheureusement "chak koukouy klere pou je yo" ce sera vraiment difficile de faire l'unite. Tres belle chanson
i really miss this. in Boston you could hear Haitian music blasting in the summer time. and the Haitian parade in march. i hope everything will get better in Haiti
Haiti, Haiti, Haiti, I Love You and your people are beautiful. Your deliverance is at hand by the Power of the "Ruach Hakodesh" and the blood of YA' OSHUAH HA MASHIACH. Western Oppression constantly labeling you as the "poorest nation in the western hemisphere" is coming to Naught. Let us humble ourselves, pray and seek YAH's face. Let us turn from our wicked ways so that YAH can hear from heaven, forgive our sin and heal our land. Peace and Shalom,
Ayiti cheri, j'espère que le monde entier comprenne que tous nous sommes vraiment un. Nous sommes frères et sœurs. It's about time we get real and make it so, now and forever. Toute ma solidarité --tintin, NYC.
Yess Its very sad too see that they are putting our country down, I consider it ignorance. We may not have a lot, but there are many countries that have they same prob, maybe even worse. But they do not broadcast it. I Love haiti, and that will never change. These haters need to stop they bellyaching and find something betta to do...
man i respect u for loving my country i dont speak german so i dont know how to say thank you well ima say it in haitian kreyol MESI wich means thank you if u could learn words like mwen renmen haiti thers no doubt u could learn this anyways MESI
As an English person who speaks French and Creole, I can tell you that if u speak French you will understand most Haitian Creole. The basis is FRENCH. And I actually improved my French by learning Creole! Creole is French..made BETTER! lol
Congratulations on you mastering French! But in actuality, while Haitian Creole is French based, because we we were colonized by them, it has influences from Portuguese, Spanish, as well (because of colonization) slight English, and a lot of native Taíno grammar, that outsiders dismiss and West African languages. While some that speak French may understand the language, most really don't.
Xcuse me lisssmike do u speak french? Because i do n im french and i can tell u that creol is a mix of french . Even if we talk the real creol french people will understand what we said Bcause many creol words are french like : laide , entrave, enragé, and so much other words... Creol is french with black accent where they add or removed letter for lake of prononciation. ( sorry my english is not good enough )
@nipbru you are on all these haitians vids haitng...for your info west indies are not just english speaking...grab a book and educate yourself before you speak
yeaaa maybe but u forgot that we are like you so u are a shit like us send u some kises from haiti ;) don't worry B happy (i think dat u don't know how haitian people is... )
You're right. People are so ignorant. They hate without picking up a book and using common sense. They just jump on the band wagon. Méringue/Merengue started on the island of Ayiti before it was devided. Amazing how this is dismissed.
Hate to burst your bubble but Haitti is the poorest country in the world and instead of bickering of who speaks what and the French this and that! I say screw that thinking... Speak of how to bring the country up and make it something it was back in the 1700's, a meca for traders, a tourist atraction, a carribean centre.. The people have to do this, enough of relying on outside influence, this has not worked recently, the haitian people need to pick themselves up and make it happen.
