In the beginning he also says "huldre" which is sort of a Norwegian witch, and is also a type of odd tuning. Then about 1:15 or he says Trond tuning. Perhaps next time you visit, you can ask him to name the tune and the region, e.g. Bruremarsj fra Telemark - Wedding march from Telemark
The tuning is trollstilt*, AEAC#. The tune itself is called Huldrejentas lokketonar. It's composed by a fiddler called Tarkjell Haugerud from Telemark. Knut Buen plays this tune on his album "Huldrejenta" from 1996.
