Don't ride him at all, keep him at a 3rd round pick. He has a proven track record, but last year was his worst for a while. What if that slide continues?? I'd refrain from an extension until he performs as expected. At best agree to insure him against injury.

Just some facts: 1) Bryce Huff had the same amount of pressures and only 1 less sack than Reddick while playing 190 less pash rush snaps 2) Huff had the same number of run stops/ play as Reddick 3) Bryce Huff is more than 4 years younger than Reddick 4) Huff is cheaper than Reddick and didnt require a draft pick 5) The only reason Huff "didnt wanna be a Jet" is because they realized he was him 2 years later than everybody with eyes. Carry on.

It seems as if for every 2-3 good decisions Douglas makes he thinks he can make an incredibly stupid one and not get any flack for it. Edge wasn’t an issue because of our depth than we let Huff go for nothing and all of a sudden it becomes a big need. To me I don’t see how you can make this trade JUST based on Reddick saying he’s cool with not new deal. That’s why he was dealt…because he was NOT cool with no new deal. We also gave up a lot for him so it seems very stupid to put ourselves in a potentially nasty and contentious distraction.

How about this just show up and do what your paid to do same goes for rodgers.

Take the loss and cut him now before he becomes a true team distraction. The Jets need to focus on building team chemistry not on nonsense like a discontented Reddick wanting to hold out even when he was told he wouldn't be given an extension. If you don't want to be here then leave. If you think you can get more money elsewhere then go. It's obvious he has no respect for Saleh as a coach and doesn't put team first. The Jets are an underachieving team that has to truly concentrate in order to have a chance at doing anything of relevance. This nonsense is not helpful. Cut him now and sign Clowney before it's too late. They miscalculated pure and simple. It happens. Admit the mistake and move on.

We have what could be a narrow window of opportunity ... not for YOU..... for the TEAM.... to win given we have a 40 year old QB and lots of talent we may not be able to sign in coming seasons given cap considerations. We have a chance given the talent on the team NOW... to finally have success. Stop being selfish and get to work with the team!!

The plan was to use Reddick these year then go younger and cheaper.. it back fired. They'll now need to give him incentives and who knows probably forced to give him another year but that's it.. Reddick will get the 🛍️ for sure
