We had an amazing offseason ... we signed the premier OL on the market, making him the highest-paid Guard (Faneca)... we signed the premier pass-rusher on the market (Pace) , making him one of the highest-paid LBs ever ... THEN we went out and added another All-Star-caliber OL, Damien Woody , and an All-Star-caliber DT, Kris Jenkins, and then we added even MORE ... Pro-Bowl FB Richardson, HOF CB Ty Law, Pro-Bowl TE Bubba Franks (imagine if we had been able to get Franks instead of Stone Hands Becht in 2000...) - and oh yeah, we got that famous Packers QB dude, what the heck was his name again? Brett Favre!! === This offseason reminds me a TON of 2008 ... if Favre didn't tear his arm up, that could've/would've/should've been Our Year ... I think this year could be it, our off-season has been almost *perfect* so far ... as long as we don't screw up the draft ... (like drafting a useless player at a position of our most depth, like LAST YEAR, or do something stupid like draft the Georgia TE ...when the entire world knows we need a starting LT for the next decade .... remember when we drafted D'Brick & Nick in 06? Literally plugged them in from Day-1, and had a solid Decade of Pro-Bowl-Caliber play at LT & C for literally every game of a Decade ... )
