Haast pass new Zealand & the blue pools new zealand, Where we explored the blue pools in haast pass new zealand, close to wanaka and drove though the stunning haast pass . This is one of the most beautiful drives iv done in New Zealand!! There is so much to see and do in the Haast pass which also makes it one of the most beautiful drives in new Zealand
you have the blue pools, fantail falls and thunder creek falls!

Is that a giant jelly bean hanging from your mirror in the car? HA! It was. That is so funny! Loved the trail to the blue pools. Those pools were really amazing. Whoa! The view of the blue pools from the hanging bridge is absolutely breathtaking! The water is crystal clear ! Those art stones are so cool. The waterfalls and the ocean are just amazing! That’s for sure a very fun-filled trip!

Those drone flights were perfect. Really captured that area. The rain drops made a great shot in the water. It started snowing in our area. That waterfall is huge. Seems like everywhere you look - it is perfect. What an amazing road trip. Can’t wait for the next episode.

@@TravelKiwi Usually when you tag a person, you use the @ symbol, but I just tagged by challenging you, in my video, to do the challenge too. I thought it might be fun. Loving the b-roll in the car, very cinematic! The transitions were spot on! That bridge over the blue pools is just epic!!! I wonder how the water is so blue..literally it's crystal clear..id love to take a dip in there on a warm day :D The drone shots were fab! The stacked stones on the rock are so cool..i wonder how long theyve been there for... Hahaha epic photo of you drinking the waterfall :D What an awesome place to end on, would of been unreal if you got to see some little penguins there! Ahhh that water is SO beautiful 😍 I know it must be super cold but it looks like an awesome place to swim. Do people ever take a dip when the weather is warmer?? The waterfall is gorgeous and super tall! I love the photo idea that you got there 😆 we did that one time with a tall skinny waterfall in Oregon lol.

Hi Gigi! There is a clearly marked car park for the blue pools on the road where you turn into! You can’t miss it!! From the marked carpark it’s about a 30min walk to these stunning blue pools!!

Kia ora I have a question, did you need to apply to DOC for a concession to fly your drone over the pools?

hello yegr, nope not for these pools but MOST places in nz you do need permission or cant fly this was like one of the only places you can fly in nz which is kinda strange! there are signs everywhere also if you can't fly, so just be sure to look out for all the signs!
